Dates: 11/16/21-11/21/21 (Took 4 days)Artist's Notes: A commission done for . This is Oolong, another scrapped kaiju from Pacific Rim. It was described as a dragon headed kaiju with a crustacean like body and a similar body language to a gorilla. At MEGAPOTAMIA's suggestion I looked to Samael from Hellboy as well as various creatures from Chinese mythology like the kirin and pixiu for inspiration.
