Name: Kabbit, Kabalope

Type: Grass/Fairy

Name Origin: Cabbage + Rabbit
Cabbage + Jackalope

Inspiration: Jackalopes and other fake taxidermy animals, chimeras, the rabbucks from Dougal Dixon's After Man, the cabbage merchant and chimeras from Avatar: The Last Airbender, flying cabbages from Konosuba

The Kabbit line is kind of a complementary pair with the Ekid family. Kabbit is based on fake taxidermy animals which turned out to be fake, while Ekid is based on an animal that was initially thought to be a taxidermy hoax but turned out to be real. Both are also chimeras and inspired by various inside jokes and internet memes. I really like how this one turned out, I don't typically draw cute creatures but this one turned out great. This is around the point in the game where the player will challenge the 4th gym.
