Description
Since Zira became a prat of the pride Sarafina had reason to be worried. Scar never was much interested in his offsprings and also not her anymore...But now his old secret mate was near by him almost every minute. For Sarafina it was clear that Scar wouldn`t reject her, but what will happen to his cubs then?It was already middle of the night when Zira visited Sarafina in the den. A big grin was seeing over her face.
"Good evening, Sarafina!", she said.
"What do you want, Zira?"
"Oh, nothing special", the lioness said by watching over her claws..."I just want to note you that you, my dear Sarafina won`t be queen of the pridelands anymore tomorrow. At sunrise Scar will my be my official mate and so I will be the official queen!"
Sarafina needed to behave herself to avoid to slap Zira right in the face, even if she knew it wasn`t all hers fault. Scar broke the promise he had given to her long time ago, but what Sarafina bothers at most was that her mate forgot that they had a cub together....something he didn`t shared with Zira.

Savu, his stories always motivated me to try to understand why these characters act that way. I really love your stories alterative, especially this one. You made me really like Zira, not that I did not like her before, but she was not one of the best for me. His theories are getting interesting, but I feel very sorry for Sarafina, she was just a pawn used by Scar. I do not know how I would feel if my partner that I swapped for a rogue. But good, Scar had a love with long before Zira, Sarafina should at least understand that.

like I said before I have no reason to dislike Zira on here. Right now Sarafina is annoying. I liked her much better in the previous comic because she was wiser and had common sense. On here she's just seems so weak and naive. As for Zira I felt bad for her because Scar never told her the truth. Also I have to say this is Scar's fault. Also I don't want to say that Zira is evil, she is kindhearted. She even cares for her pride-sisters and loves them. Even when they left her, she accepted them back because of their hearts were broken by a rogue. And she take care of their children. So in my mind, Zira is a sweet-heart. If I was in Zira's shoes I would have approached Sarafrina the same way. "He was my man first not yours, he don't even care about you." that would be my attitude. And yes Scar was wicked for killing his own brother, but he did it for Zira his true love. Twisted but sweet. But still you should not do evil to get what you want. At the end Scar died because of his horrible decisions.

I agree with you! And perhaps because Zira loves Scar so much, that's why she goes completely insane when Scar dies.

It's too bad that people are actually being angry at Sarafina for all this. Yes, she had mated with a rogue... and she learned from her mistakes. After what happened between her and the rogue lion, Sarafina learned the hard way that there was no future with a rogue for a mate, which was what she was trying to warn Scar before it was too late.
And it's not Sarafina's fault she didn't have much of a role in the movie, people might as well say the same thing for Sarabi. Ever stop to think that the reason she DIDN'T have such a role was because all the cameras ever focused on were two royal cubs getting into shennanigans and the random tragic parent?
Also, in this theory, Sarafina really was just a pawn in this whole mess. She would have been happy in the Pridelands as a single mother, but it was Scar who intervened and took her in as his mate. You don't take someone as your mate and then treat them like sh*t, which is exactly what he did here. With a union like that comes expectations, expectations that Sarafina had every right to have.
Just because Scar and Zira are villains doesn't make it 'cool' to see them as the good ones here. Do I find them interesting? Yes. Do their pasts make me sympathetic for them? Yes. Do I hate them? No. But do I have any reason to like them based on their morality choices and their heartless natures? Not at all.

Sarafina wants a loving mate who will help her raise her cubs. Instead she gets a mate who is cold and unloving, yet many Scar fans only seem to care more about Scar's unhappiness rather than Sarafina's and blame her for Scar's unhappiness.
Is there any logic to that? I don't see it.
I understand the interest in villains. I have favorite villains myself, but will I ever believe that being evil is cool and they are the "true" good guys of the whole story like most fans are going on?

No, I think there are still a few of us who support the Pridelanders or at least see their point of view. Still it's a relief from all the "GO SCAR!" or "GO ZIRA!" cries you see over and over again.

I don't hate Zira "hate" is very big word. But i can never like Zira more then Sarafina, i must tell Scar give a promise to Zira first. Sarafina she behave like she never did some mistakes in her life. Why don't she go hunt her first "mate rogue" and find him and be as annoying as she is to Scar and i can't never believe that Sarafina can be like this even she didn't have a big role in the movie and more at the Disney comic, both comic and the movie she is like a clam and shy lioness. I know is hard for Sarafina but she expekt too much from Scar before and now she angry that Scar true love! also he have feelings for her, will be a queen , EVEN Sarafina "knows" what love\feelings feels she also she DID love a rogue very much she should understand Scar and Zira but no she don't.
And what makes me very angry at Sarafina: she told Scar to " leave Zira because he won't have any future with a rogue" but i just wonder what did Sarafina do how make her a mother * oh yes * she mated with a ROGUE.

Yes Sarafina mated with a rogue... but she learned from her mistakes. And she was trying to warn Scar of that before he suffered the same mistakes.
Also, it was Scar who claimed her as a mate, and with that kind of union comes expectations that I think Sarafina had a right to have. I mean, that's just my two cents...

Maybe, But i hate to admit this ... but there isn't a future for a " royal lioness" there is more chance with royal lion. Look? Scar will now have a future with Zira, something Sarafina would never have with that rogue lion.
If Mufasa was still a King maybe Scar would never have a future with Zira. but to be honest if Sarafina was smart she should leave the pride as fast as she can\ let's see if she does or maybe Zira will kill Sarafina and Mheetu? thats why maybe they wasn't on the movie..?. she should leave the royal rules behind her, and LEAVE Pridelands.
