Thank you! I did the drawings for the bear, someone else put them into an animation program. The kangaroo I drew and put into an animation program myself. I haven't done animation in a long time, I should do so again.

Yeah, it's been a while since I did any myself. The AVI files of my animation exercises got lost because of a computer virus. I still have the original drawings I drafted at uni, so I could re- capture them some day. But they're of no real importance anymore
I think you should brush up on you skills and produce more animation in the future. It would be nice to see how much you have improved. If you want to break into the animation field, I'd certainly recommend getting back to it

The actual animation I did by hand. The sheets were scanned and put into a gif animator. Animating isn't easy but is quite rewarding I think. Thank you so much for your comment and your interest.

no problems, I always wanted to make animation and comic books but i never find a good editor (but i asked my parents and they will give me a flash editor for my birthday)

Not bad. It'd be good to see more follow through with the limbs, especially the tail. For example when the kangaroo lands, the tail should keep following through with it's own motion, and maybe the arms coming down and in and little to help with the anticipation of the next bounce. Each frame seems to be running at its own speed so its hard to say if its really working or not.

Thanks! Well, you make a lot of drawings (hard work). They need to have effective movement and must stay in registration with each other. I made a registration plate for this. I flip back and forth between sheets, drawing the character a bit at a time. You have to visualize the action as you go. Flipping back and forth, you can see the movement and if it looks right. It isn't easy, not everyone can do it. When you're done you clean it all up, scan it in, prepare the images with photoshop, the finally use my gif animator to put it all together and adjust the timing. That's it! You think of giving it a try? There many good books on doing animation out there. :3

Their really are books for that? I never saw one here in Belguim so i guess i should try using tutorials on the internet or youtube videos for it.

Yes, you could look on the internet. There is a lot of information if you look in the right place. I suppose there are programs that make animation easier than if you did it by hand. I think the old way is best, though.^_^

Maybe it's my computer, but the playback is a little slow, so it's hard to judge if the animation is truly working or not. I'm getting about 6 FPS here.
