Searpent is yet another evolution for a GSC-era suggestion, Searamand. We decided to get them all out of the way before we switch to a 5th-Generation format, so we can better emulate Nintendo by not having any old mons be related to new ones. Of course then we decided that this ruling should only apply to Official Pokémon, making Searpent's case rather moot. Oh well!

Searpent and its relations are property of the Pokémon Factory. Theft makes a mockery of you far more often than it makes us!
