Description
Name: ExcaslashClassification: Razor Drill FUSEmon
Type: Ground/Steel
Height 2’09”
Weight 154.1 lbs
Client:
Ability: Earthmover (this Fusemon is rendered immune to damage from Ground-type attacks. Any other effects of Ground moves behave normally)
Notes and Observation: Most other Geneticists at FUSE-corp I think would balk at the idea of combining two pokemon that have essentially the same habits, appendages and ecological niche, due to the redundancy factor. I, however, see it as an interesting challenge.
Unusually for one of my creations, Excaslash's height strikes an average between Excadrill and Sandslash, But the additional metal gives it the total weight of both samples. The specialisation of the metal armor to easily cut through soil and rock renders the subject impervious to ground attacks, a matter I have had contention with in the past, concerning pure monster strains.

This shouldn't have taken as long as it did. Sorry cavern! I'll try and up the pace for those still waiting on me!

I love this, though I think you should also try Sandslashes eyes and some biger spikes.

I've heard the same thing elsewhere X)
didn't want to make the back blades too big, otherwise they'd hinder underground travel, and I always thought Sandslash's eyes looked kind of soulless, like a shark's eyes, so I just made up ones that were more like Excadrill's and therefore more personable.

Well I would imagine that it would spin to dig like Excadrill and its funny but I find Excadrill's eyes to blank and dull and that Sandslash's are the ones with expression.

I don't know if you read Nuzlockes at all, but Excaslash's eyes were influenced more by Notepad's Sandslash than anything else X)

a small example of the Sandslash I was referring to
I honestly couldn't imagine him making that face if he had more accurate eyes.

So, can it go both Drill Form like Exadrill and ball form like Sandslash? I mean, that would be pretty awesome!

It does both, at the same time.

This is the single greatest fusion with similar structures I have ever seen! Great job!
May I make a request? If your busy that's fine.

Thank you
I'm really too saturated with requests and off-DA work to promise to do any more requests right now, you'd be waiting for ages and ages

I'm not really doing elementals as a thing per se, I just needed a short title. I would have called it "request fusion: this is a drill", but it was too long

Prof. Flair: On the contrary, I believe fusing pokemon with essentially the same habits creates a fusion that improves on both of them. Given what I've seen so far, I can prove this.
