Description Name: Biscilade

Classification: Razor Edge FUSEmon

Type: Steel/Fighting/Dark

Height 5’06”

Weight 176.3 lbs

Client:

Special Ability: Multi-Tool
None of this FUSEmon’s attacks can be not very effective. Instead, they cause damage as if regularly effective. This FUSEmon’s stats are also not changed by status afflictions, e.g. being burned does not reduce attack.

Signature Move: Blender Spin
Type: Steel
Pow: 120
Acc: 100%
The user of this move is locked into it for 2-3 turns. Has a high Critical-Hit rate. Removes the effects of entry hazards and binding moves from play. The user is confused after the move ends or misses.

Prof. Assistant’s Notes:

extract from entry SFD01a:

...Despite being derived from lightly-armored components, the subject's metal shell exhibits properties more in keeping with Steelix shell, failing to show signs of melting or structural compromise at temperatures exceeding 20,000°C and possessing a bulk modulus of 450 gigapascals (diamond peaks at 442). It thus appears impossible to blunt its edges unless struck against a sample of identical material...

extract from entry SFD01b:

…It has developed a surprising ability to pick locks in almost no time flat. This is an interesting manifestation of its combined Steel and Dark natures. This fact may also prove to be another selling point to the client, maybe upping the price and thereby our funding for the time being. Cross your fingers!.
Interestingly enough though, this has not been the only manifestation of its Dark-type nature. Late at night, our security cameras have caught it pickpocketing unsuspecting members of the Lab’s staff. It seems to be learning from being caught and is using more advanced tactics in going about the petty theft, including utilisation of a hitherto undisclosed optical camouflage that renders it near invisible to the human eye! This ability is not derived from surface pigment alteration like in Kecleon though, but appears instead to be a residual telekenetic power adapted from the Gallade genes present within the subject...

extract from entry SFD01c:

…How could the Fighting-type nature be completely absent from this lazy piece of apathetic[REDACTED] Ugh! It never wants to train! How could a fusion be so sedentary? It’s even a beautiful day outside! Ugh!...

…Turns out that Biscilade—our designated name for the subject—isn’t lazy, it’s just a night owl. Once the sun sets, this FUSEmon is a furious trainer, a perfectionist and a ferocious battler. As a matter of fact, the last few nights it has had difficulty stopping itself and has trained past the point of exhaustion. This tendency cannot be good for its physical stability, but who knows, most of my experience with typing common to a majority of the component PKMN have been pretty well put-together…

…Its hypercompetitive nature has become a hurdle for any trainer trying to control it, save a few very gifted battlers, because it gets frustrated quickly with any small flaw in the direction it receives. One of the facility’s younger, more inexperienced staff trainers was hospitalised by a rogue Bullet Punchduring one of these incidents...

extract from entry SFD01d:

…Observations have shown that, while its Fighting-type nature is exhibited in its training habits and its Dark-type nature dominates its “extracurricular” activities, its Steel-type is most visible in battle. Biscilade has taken to a tank-style battle pattern. It will endure its opponent’s attacks, utilizing its great defensive capabilities and wait for an opening to present itself. Don’t let this style fool you, though, when this creation is on the offensive, it is a terrible force to be reckoned with. Its ability is incredibly useful in this regard by allowing it to have a wider variety of tactics to use against the opponent and allowing it to battle for the most part unhampered by status affliction…

…Despite being a tank-style battler, Biscilade displays wide access to both priority and high-critical hit ratio attacks, further enhancing its already impressive attacking capabilities…

In the interests of not agonizing over this for hours, I'll forgo the description. , feel free to come up with something yourself and I'll add it here. aand was kind enough to do it anyway! thanks dude

The ability seems a little broken..... How about this: "Attacks always do normal damage." This would mean that not very effective hits would do normal damage, but as a trade off it prevents super effective hits as well. This could also effect your opponent.

SCDifference In reply to strong-1 [2012-07-30 12:07:58 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for the suggestion (and for favouriting it), but I would have to decline to change anything. This is a fusion monster and is, in my opinion, entirely meant to be broken as all get-out.

Guardiavoir [2011-09-23 21:25:25 +0000 UTC]

What's up with the Swiss army pocket knife for a arm?
To be honest, this does look really cool, and for that, I congratulate you, but the pocket knife part doesn't agree with me. It's a little too much, because 1) why would he need a nail filer? XD 2) it's confusing to the eye... At least my eye. And 3) It just doesn't look right.
But, despite the whole pocket knife thing, this deserves a standing ovation.

SCDifference In reply to Guardiavoir [2011-09-23 21:36:57 +0000 UTC]

He has a nail file to file the nails of other fusions that DO have nails :V and I do agree with you that it's confusing to look at and I could have integrated it into the design more cleanly, but what's done is done and the client liked it anyway, so all's well as far as I'm concerned.

With great patience and care sir.
Likewise I have no idea how you splice sprites so effectively! I just don't have the patience for that kind of work :V

tht1crzyddrguy In reply to SCDifference [2011-09-23 22:17:12 +0000 UTC]

@___@ Sprite work is mostly observation of the sprites and where they'd fit together. :3 I suck at scratching though ;___;

Two choices: either produce sprites for Laptodian and Embhydreil OR mush together Dusclops and trash cloak Wormadam.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tht1crzyddrguy In reply to SCDifference [2011-09-23 23:41:53 +0000 UTC]

I'll take a stab at the first one, although they'll probably be crap cuz I suck at scratching, I'll try thoguh. I'll try the second one if the first is just too much. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SCDifference In reply to tht1crzyddrguy [2011-09-24 00:09:43 +0000 UTC]

Well I never meant to imply that you scratch the first two. All I did was try to apply Laptodian to a Sceptile base, and I was hoping you'd be able to do a better job of that than I did.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tht1crzyddrguy In reply to SCDifference [2011-09-24 00:34:52 +0000 UTC]
