Description Station Eighteen "Bulls on Parade" is located on Parade Ave in West Bayside, East River County. It is home to Engine Eighteen, and Collapse Rescue Eighteen. Collapse Rescue Eighteen was donated to the Bayside Fire Department in 2000 by the Bayside Brewery Company as a thank you for stopping a massive fire in it's distribution yard, and is now maintained as a ready reserve unit but can be activated as a secondary collapse rescue if needed and staffed by members from station eighteen. Station One is part of Battalion One, District One, and serves as headquarters for the Shift Commander.

Update 9/24/23: The Collapse Rescue Eighteen (FR8301) has been retired, and placed up for sale due to age. 

Engine Eighteen (Shops # EP2010) Engine Eighteen is staffed by up to: 1 FF/Engineer (EMT/Paramedic), 1 Lieutenant (EMT/Paramedic), and 2 of either FF/EMTs and/or FF/Paramedics. Total normal staffing: 4 and maintains a ALS response level. A FF/EMT or FF/Paramedic from Ladder One will cross staff Collapse Rescue Eighteen if activated as a secondary collapse rescue as needed, with Engine Eighteen following for manpower. Engine Eighteen is set up with four hosebeds: one with 1000' of 5" large diameter supply hose preconnected to a four way hydrant valve, one with 500' of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, one with 300' of 1 3/4" attack hose, and one empty tray used to store three 150' high rise packs of 1 3/4" attack hose. In addition to it's hosebeds, Engine Eighteen also carries three 150' preconnected 1 3/4" crosslays, one 8' segment of 5" hard suction hose, one 15' segment of 5" large diameter supply hose in the front bumper tray, and one 25' segment of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose in the engineer's compartment. Engine Eighteen also carries one 24' extension ladder, one 14' roof ladder, one 10' attic ladder, two sets of forcible entry tools, one 8' pike pole, one 6' pike pole, one roof hook, one denver tool, one trash hook, one dry chemical extinguisher, one pressurized water extinguisher, four spare SCBA bottles, two sets of hydrant tools, hose adapters and nozzles, one automotive lockout kit, one 300' bag of life safety rope, two 150' lengths of utility rope, one chainsaw, one K-12 saw, five collapsible traffic cones, cribbing, ten road flares, one 5 gallon bucket of quick absorbent, one wide mouth shovel, one push broom (disassembled for transport), one bolt cutter, four rolls of fire scene tape, gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera, two long backboards, the crews ballistic PPE, one decon kit, one mobile data terminal, city map books, county map books, station area pre plan books, city wide hazard pre plan books, one lifepak, one trauma jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, one maternity jump bag, one spare M-15 oxygen cylinder, and a ALS jump bag.

Collapse Rescue Eighteen (Shops # KR0301) Collapse Rescue Eighteen, former Collapse Rescue One, is staffed by up to: 1 FF/EMT or FF/Paramedic. Total normal staffing: 0 and maintains a First Responder response level. A FF/EMT or FF/Paramedic from Ladder One will cross staff Collapse Rescue Eighteen if activated as a secondary collapse rescue as needed, with Engine Eighteen following for manpower.  Collapse Rescue Eighteen is outfitted with various lengths and dimensions of plywood, various lengths and dimensions of wood boards, nine 3' struts, twelve 1 1/2' struts, three 1' strut, six 4 1/2' struts, nine 3' extensions, four paratech controllers, four paratech swivel bases, twelve paratech extensions, one little giant folding ladder, a confined space rescue tripod, one stokes basket, four reeves sleeves, two portable generators, adapters for electric cords, various lengths of electric power cords, one large light tower, twenty large air bags, twenty small air bags, five shovels, four sets of forcible entry tools, five 300' search ropes, two supplied air carts, one air tools kit, ten spare SCBA bottles for the air tools, 1200' of air hose, one 2 1/2 ton car jack,  assorted slings, one large socket and wrench set, one TU-28 4000 w/ 60' of 7/16" diameter rope rated to 20000 lbs, one TU-32 8000 w/ 30' of 5/8" diameter rope rated to 40000 lbs, one 20 ton bottle jack, one 30 ton bottle jack, two come alongs, 500' of utility rope in various lengths, five elevator clamps, cribbing, one 20' ladder, one confined space air kit, two 200' lengths of confined space air hose w/comms lines, high angle rescue equipment, miscellaneous hand tools, miscellaneous power tools, one large acetylene torch, one mini acetylene torch, two purple K extinguishers, one spare O2 tank, gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera, two long backboards, one decon kit, one mobile data terminal, city map books, county map books, city wide hazard pre plan books, and one first aid kit.
