I wonder what it would be like if these two met.
I know of Soldat-J/002 from the The King of Braves GaoGaiGar, but to me his homage to Jet is hitting a tad too close to home (nothing personal to Soldat-J fans!). And with Jet being territorial, I bet he would flip a bitch over his likeness (and his abilities) being ripped off like that.
Sorry Soldat-J, but Jet's nose can kick your nose's butt any day of the week.

Soldat-J: you are Foul! only those are Equipe with the J stone or the G stone can Fight the Zonder! J-Ark!( a giant space ship get out the water)
Jet Link: This ? is a space battle ship!
Soldat-J: he can transfrom to a robot! farwell! you fool!( fly to the J-Ark and go to his next mission!)
Jet Link: Wait!( he try to grap Soldat-J but he be stop someone who grap him by the arm!)
Guy: dont try or you will be destroy by the savety defence! i know him and is not the guy you want fight!
Jet Link: who are you?
Guy: my name is Guy and i am a menber of the GGG! and i ask you to stop this and to not try to fight a Zonder! if you see something not normal call the GGG! we deil with it! but you and your friends be out of this! if you want help, protect the civil but dont fight the Zonder! this is my only Warning!

not bad but Soldot-J is not the type of guy be fear by other! and he a cyborg and not cyborg made by human but by alien! yes the alien on this serie is be human from a other planet but their tecnologi is more advence! this guy got no chance again him! Jet Link is maby a good fight but he not fight alien! Soldat-J a dont need his giant robot to kick the ass of Jet Link! but if Soldat-J use it is game over! plus Soldat-J is Very Fast and he can Fly! Jet Link is fast too but he not the same speed! Jet Link is not Goku! ......goku....yeah! is hard beat goku in speed!

Aw, man! It's so cute! Jet being bossy *squeal* about his nose *squeal again*. LOVELY! Though I do like Soldat-J too and his amazing show-stealing ability (he enters a scene on a missile - totally unfazed(AWESOME)) and his kick-ass girlfriend. (She's in the OVA and her name is Renais, in case someone doesn't know)
But yeah, for all of us Jet's the real thing, right?

I never saw the series but I do know that it's like C009 meets Voltron and The Thing put together. They actually "borrow" a reference from the 8th volume of C009 which involves an alien lion as one of the GGG resources. 83

Oh of course, drawing is a joyous and relaxing thing to do.
I always seem to sketch my pics either when I'm at work or doing math--cuz distractions help a lot. That's a secret to getting motivated to draw.

Funny though the studio he works for (Sunrise) did a collaboration with Toei Animation for the C009 anime in the late 70s, and that Sunrise decided to honor that particular cyborg superhero theme when the (2nd) anime came to fruition.
But Jet still won't have it. XD

In the 2nd intro credits sequence of Powerpuff Girls Z, the GangGreen Gang members floating across the screen with Ace in the background is a take to the intro credits of the 1979 Cyborg 009 anime, check both of them out.

I know Jet is famous enough to have a few homages (Roam and Mars are exceptions though, since Mr. Ishinomori created them), but have a character emulate Jet right down to the number just makes my tummy gurgle a bit...
That's why I made it, so Jet could tell whose boss. :]
