Description
Adam Park is the second Mighty Morphin Black Ranger, selected to succeed Zack Taylor after the latter went to Switzerland for the Teen World Summit. He was first introduced to the Power Rangers when he was kidnapped by Lord Zedd in an attempt to convert her to the side of evil. This attempt failed, but Adam learned of the Rangers’ true identities. (MMPR2: The Ninja Encounter) After being sworn to secrecy by Zordon, he helped the Rangers on a few occasions before being asked to assume the duties of the Black Ranger. (MMPR2: The Power Transfer)

As a kid, he was often picked on and left out, but he eventually built up confidence in himself while training in martial arts (MMPR2: Mirror of Regret), though he still had problems with girls. During this time, he was targeted by Scorpina, who disguised herself as a girl named Sabrina in order to manipulate the shy teen into alienating his friends before facing an ambush alone, perpetrated by the Scorpion Warrior. Even though Aisha didn't trust Sabrina, she attempted to get along with her for Adam's sake. This led to her being able to interfere when Scorpina lured Adam on a hike to a remote part of the park. Though the encounter left Adam's confidence in himself weakened, he would soon recover when he gained the attention of a girl Aisha had been trying to hook him up with. (MMPR2: Goldar’s Vice-Versa)

The Black Ranger powers were lost after Rito Revolto’s surprise attack. Adam and the other Power Rangers traveled through the Desert of Despair to speak with Ninjor, the original creator of the Power Coins. After some convincing, Ninjor granted him the powers of the Black Ninja Ranger and command of the Frog Ninjazord. (MMPR3: Ninja Quest)During this time, Adam would also take command of the Black Shogunzord. (MMPR3: Changing of the Zords)

After Master Vile turned back time, Adam was turned into a child again. (MMPR3: Rangers in Reverse) Billy invented a machine to restore the Rangers to their proper age, but the Ninja Power Coins were destroyed by Goldar before Adam could use it. (MMPR3: Climb Every Fountain) In order to restore the normal time flow, Adam ventured to Korea in the past to retrieve the Green Zeo subcrystal. Upon retrieving said crystal from behind a waterfall, he returned to the present. (MMPR3: Along Came a Spider)
