Description
Cross-Eye ViewingSit back, focus on the dividing line between the left and right images. Slowly cross your eyes till the two images merge into a third, three-dimensional image in the center.
For an clearer understanding, you can view the animated tutorial here [link]
I've resized this image for comfortable viewing. If the full-view image is straining your eyes too much try it on the thumbnail ^^ You can click on download for a better closeup.

Still doesn't work if you're blind in one eye. 3-D vision, never had it never will. LOL But I do love the detail and stylishness of the werewolf.

That's true ^^' There's also a small fraction of people who can't view these images for some reason. Thanks for appreciating

WOW! That is absolutely AMAZING! I was sitting there staring at it, thinking "You know, these visual things never worked for me.", then BAM! My eyes clicked into some new view and I nearly jumped when I saw the 3-D Garou! Very amazing job, I am simply mesmerized!

A small percentage of people can't merge stereo images. Perhaps you're one of them x3

Wow, that's amazing, though my eyes tear up too much to see it clearly, but that's still so cool! And the image itself is amazing, very good job with the detail.

Thank you so much ^^ You should sit further away from the screen. I didn't precise that in my description, my bad ^^'

Wow, that's very impressive! I did the whole merging the images with my eyes thing and it looks awesome! There were some minor goofs in what I saw, but that could have been my fault :-D I'm sincerely impressed
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
ScorpionDeathlock In reply to sukuriant [2008-02-18 17:43:26 +0000 UTC]
Thank you my friend. You may be right about those goofs ^^ I appreciate your honesty.
The werewolf was merged as a whole in my old deviation. I had to slice up those body parts and reconstruct them altogether again, so there's bound to be pixels on those connecting areas which I failed to align perfectly on the same plane of depth.
It's my first attempt, I'll do better next time but I doubt I'll be doing it again ^^

sukuriant In reply to ScorpionDeathlock [2008-02-19 04:39:36 +0000 UTC]
*looks at it again* I think it also might be the distance away that the rear arm looks like it's supposed to be
It was still fantastic, and I definitely couldn't do this! :-P
(And you should do it again, if you enjoyed it... if it was a pain, then nah, don't waste the time on something you don't enjoy... at least in art)

ScorpionDeathlock In reply to sadakina2 [2008-02-18 17:20:45 +0000 UTC]
You can create that illusion of depth by merely shifting objects left or right horizontally on the alternate image. That's easy to do but the objects appear flat like paper cutouts.
The last two frames of this animated gif [link] will give you an idea how the werewolf and cliff were reconstructed to make them three-dimensional ^^
