I stayed getting in trouble as a kid. I did everything from squat in vacant houses to avoid being without having a roof over my head to roaming the woods in search of food. I usually would go meet up with other kids or went by myself. Squirrel, rabbit, opossum, birds, and fish. I crossed over people's crops and would snag fruit from the trees and followed sugar cane trucks to grab what fell off. I don't have to now...and I'm grateful. People that hunt won't tell you how many times they went back home empty handed or how long it takes to shoot or catch stuff. they show you the videos of instantly caught animals or canned hunts. It ain't always easy or successful. Many folks that kill animals for food ain't jumping up and down like homicidals.
