Having escaped the clutches of death, exiled from their homeland, deep beneath the earth, the twins find solace in each others' presence. The last sparks of juvenility playing out in their belief that they will find a new home that welcomes them as their own kind had once done.

The Tenebris amulet around their necks binds them forever to a cursed, yet heavily empowered existence, which has only begun. The older they grow, the more understanding of their ill fate comes to them. For now, they play, but they are welcome only in places they conquer once their secret is known to those around them.
