The final casting may have been different from clay model. Well, the manufacturer or client can make their judgement to revise it. As a freelance sculptor, there was nothing right or wrong for its final appearance. Also the original designer has her absolute opinions for this licensed project. I had to copy her sculpting style and textures also no matter I like it or not.
