Description
Speedpaint done in under 25 minutes two months ago. This is just a quick practice for the challenge piece "mode of transportation in a rural area," featuring a caravan from the original Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Even though pretty much all you did was move in a linear dungeon and mash A in that game, I loved it!FFCC © Square/Square Enix

This looks like a Bob Ross painting! All those Happy Little Trees...

Thank you! I didn't notice it before while doing the speedpaint, but you're right, there are quite a few similarities in style. It is an honor to be compared to a great artist like Bob Ross.

Thanks! It was a ton of fun painting this, especially since it was a speedpaint and little details could be overlooked haha.

Thank you! I needed practice drawing water and landscapes, so I figured I'd try out a few new things in a speedpaint and see how it goes. I'm glad you like it!

I love how you captured the mood and setting so well in such a short time. You really captured the essentails so to speak.

Thank you! I've never done a speedpaint before till now, and while there's errors, I'm pretty happy with my experiment and would love to try it again in the future. It seems like a good way to get in some quick, but decent practice and not be worried about the nitpicky bits that seem to plague more "finalized" pieces. XD

Indeed, a speedpaint is a good way just to try and capture the essentials, so to speak.

I recall this piece, or was it erased from memory due to the thick, rainbow miasma? Where is da bucket? The lone person that everyone ignored, but held the entire group's fate in their hands! Bucket... Were ye a bucket wielder or nay?
And as always, lovely piece. I like the colors and the sense of distance. Also, nice with the rays of light shining through!

The lovely Bucket must be hiding in the caravan. Look how powerful that sparkle miasma is that is being emitted! It pushes away all the rainbow miasma! What a stanky bully! What a fate!
And thankies! They weren't intentionally rays of light though, I just wanted to paint varied colors in the sky to make it less boring! Hooray! Deception successful!
