Description
Check out that retro gamer chick! Hm, the chick is looking a little confused...maybe he's too young to appreciate the good ol' gaming from back in the day. This was taken about 4 years ago, Stew Bebee the silver laced sebright (who we ultimately gave away because he was a rooster, but such a sweetie he was!) with an NES controller.

Thanks! He definitely knew he was cute haha! He was always very snuggly and probably the best chick I've had for photos since he didn't keep trying to run away or scream his lungs out. XD

Thank you! I rather miss having chicks, since they make for easy posing and cute pictures haha! Full grown chickens aren't always the most cooperative for photos. XD

I'm sorry you had to give her away. I'm sure she had great memories with you though! And feeding birds is always nice! We used to have a bird feeder as well, but now we don't need one since the birds just steal food from our hens haha! It's fun having such lovely visitors all the time.

One day can make all the difference! And your mother must have had a lot of fun during her childhood. There's a special innocence that comes with the imagery of a young child feeding baby birds.

Thank you! He was one of the sweetest chicks I ever had with a very mellow personality, great for posing in photos! We couldn't keep him since roosters aren't allowed in our neighborhood, so he's at an educational farm now.

Gamer chicks are so cute aren't they? And they grow up so fast and start playing dirty, like eating your fingers while playing! XD

Indeed! He was super tiny compared to other chicks I've had, since he's a bantam! In this picture I believe he's already two weeks old, so he already grew quite a bit compared to when I first got him haha!

Nope, though he sured seemed like it! XD Right before him, I had another batch of chicks, but they were standard breeds so they seemed like giants in comparison! He was such a little guy that we couldn't but ooo and aah over him. As a bantam, they're 1/4 to 1/2 the size of standard chicks (sort of like "toy" dogs), so he was just naturally that small. I did have an actual runt a few years before him though, a silkie. At three months old, she was barely larger than my fist, while her sister was triple her size!

He was a cute little guy huh? I don't have him any more, and wish I took more pictures of him since he was always very calm and stayed still, unlike my other chicks who just ran all over the place! XD

Wait, why did you have chicks at home?

Haha thanks!
And no, I don't eat my pets. Our neighborhood doesn't allow roosters due to the noise level, so we gave him away to an educational farm. He was a silver laced sebright, so he had a very pretty pattern and children can admire him haha! We can keep all the hens though, and they're very dear to us! They make very good pets and are much smarter than people give them credit for.

Thanks! He was a really sweet little guy, and calm for posing too (much easier to take pictures of than my other chicks haha)! But since he was a rooster we had to give him away since our neighborhood doesn't allow them.
