Description
CloudandFeather said to post something CARBONATED themed this week, so here's a bit of a stretch, but since I don't have any direct pictures of soda or alcohol, well, carbonated means bubbly, and bubbly is happiness, and Disney is happiness! Whoohoo! My sister is actually Max in this picture. So here's a picture of a lot of Disney characters posing together at Disneyland! Yay!
Photo from my sister's stash, editing done by me.

Good luck to you! My sister used to work there over the summers so I would get signed in a lot! She loved working there and said it's a lot of fun. Everyone is so happy and there's so much Disney spirit everywhere! What's your favorite ride there?
And thanks for the compliments!

I can't remember the title, but she was one of those people who helped guide characters out, like the people who accompany the princesses (since their lines are always long) or if she's with like Winnie the Pooh, if the kid talks to Winnie, she'll "translate" what he responds. She's also worked on Fantasmic and wore the costumes before. They're really hot and the steam from your sweat makes it hard to see! XD I did indeed love going with her to Disneyland! She showed me some cool things, like all those "secret" locations for shooting those targets in Buzz Lightyear's ride that I would have never noticed otherwise. If you do work there, you're going to love it. Β
Thunder Mountain is a fun one! I always loved Matterhorn, but now that they made it all individually seated, it's just not the same and I can't say I like it as much any more. Part of the fun was squishing in with your friends and family together!Β

I think they call it a cast memberΒ or something like that but it sounds like fun! This may sound silly but I would want to be an actual character like Tinkerbell or Minnie mouse! But anything like that would be a fun job.
Ya Matterhorn is pretty fun! I also like the new cars ride and anything with classic mickey!

Oh that's right! That's what she was- a cast member! And I don't think it's a silly idea at all, it seems really fun! For a lot of the costumes though, they're really hot! Like in this picture, my sister is actually in Max, and she said it got so hot, the steam from her sweat clouded up the eyepiece and made it very hard to see or something. Supposedly in some of the countries closer to the equator, they have a mini temperature control unit in these costumes, but I don't think they have that at our Disneyland. Face characters probably have it better in terms of comfort, but they'll have to put their acting skills to the test, so it's harder in that sense. I wish you all the best! Whichever you choose to do, I'm sure you'll make a lot of visitors happy.
I heard the Cars ride is amazing! I haven't watched the movie yet though, and the line is always so long on it. >.< One day I'll get to it!

Ya I thought so, and that would be fun too!
Really she was max? lol that's awesome! But I would also want to be an artist there, but its probably hard to do, you would have to be really really good. And yes the face characters really have to act like the part, so I think IΒ would do best as Tinkerbell (im short too) but I would be really nervous about auditioning DX But thanks, and I hope someday my dreams will come true!
You haven't seen it! OMG you have to!! You really have to see it before you go on the ride. And when I went the line wasn't really that long. They say it is but it goes pretty fast and its so worth it.
Btw does your sister still work there?

Yep indeed! Ooh I've seen the artists there and they do some pretty neat work! I really like the art made from people's names. If you go that route, be sure to post some of your work here too! And Tinkerbell is a cute choice!
One day I'll watch it, one day! I keep hearing all great things about Cars. (plus I know I must watch it before riding the ride!) I just watched Frozen and it made me tear up. I enjoyed it a lot. Cool new icon you have there.
Nah, she only worked there over the summer when she was in high school, and I think occasionally in college. After she graduated, she did pharmaceutical research, realized it wasn't for her, and went into wedding/engagement/family photography, which she loves! Thanks to the time she spent at Disneyland though, whenever people request to have their pictures taken at Disneyland, she knows all the best spots to do so! So who knows, even if one day you decide to work at Disneyland and later move on, that experience you had working there will surely benefit you in the future.Β

Yes I agree, and I may not even work there but it has always been a dream of mine. I also want to become an animator, so I have high hopes :3

ScythicKitty In reply to marmiz [2012-12-05 07:17:39 +0000 UTC]
This calls for a showdown between DA HOOLK(DICK) and Baloo! Who is strongest there is?!
Chip is a tree bear. Tree bears don't wave at you nor give thee hugs, just like water bears.

Ah...DA HOOLK(DICK) is surely the strongest! Tacos tremble at the mere mention of the name. I am trembling right now!!
Ooh. Tree bears. I know they are nice, but you'd never know because they never hug.

Thou art trembling at the name of DA HOOLK(DICK)? Then...are you actually...a TACO?! No wonder the bears don't desire to hug you! They only want to hug tamales!
