Hmm I dunno if I would trust Sans here, would you? Frisk is probably really confused but pleased to know he didn't kill her again!
Phew that took a little while longer! Snowdin was interesting to paint in a 3D world so I changed up the position of things and added some other buildings. Also don't judge them, I never draw buildings really so this is good practice!

The Flowerfell comic is a tribute to Siviosanei's AU and fanfiction 'Overgrowth'. The story doesn't belong to me and my art only serves to bring the story to life.
Any extra scenes or dialogue are there to help explain motivations, fill plot holes or give characters a 3D feel. The overarching story and plots will stay the same.

Almost! I'm pretty sure the flowers end up making her go more than blind. Basically it takes away some of the power of the reset. Each death has a consequence.

the expressions are spot on! I love the buildings they look so warm and inviting (If only the risk of Frisk's live wasn't on the line!) the trees look amazing too! Over all I love this comic!!

Man, I really really love how you draw FF Sans. Do you have to listen to Overgrowth over and over to get the lines? Or is it to just remind you of the plot? It's a shame that you can only find it as a reading on youtube now because the author took it down.

And yes I re listen to the same part and write down the dialogue for the scene and any specific notations like the tone of their voice, their movements and then I put them all onto the page and start constructing what shots I want to convey.
I know it really is so silly that people had to disrespect the original work...which is partly why I wanted to do Flowerfell so badly. This way people can get a read at it again but at the same time it is a visual approach and will fill plot holes and give more scenes to characters without disrespecting the original work, or claiming it as my own!

I really find it sad that the original creator of FF has grown to regret ever making FF in the first place. They asked for a cease and deist of any and all fanart/cosplay/fics/etc to be done. But, well...it's so popular and people love it so much.
Telling fans to stop loving something that they're into just isn't going to work. RN though, all they have up on their tumblr is "I regret ever making Flower fell", that's it. It sucks when people give into the toxicity that sometimes occur within fandoms. It's happened in Harry Potter, Supernatural and even Dr. Who and Naruto. It's probably why the creators for Underfell gave up and cut their ties. *shrug*
But at least you're giving it a respectful try to the story and making it into what seems to be in homage to the original works rather than claiming it as your own.
Flowerfell will never die imho. Once its out on the internet and people start to like it, it's there forever y'know?
And personally I found it to be such a heartfelt and fantastic tragedy. It's probably the only fic that got me to tear up from actual sorrow for the main characters.

Yeah true I want to respect their wishes as much as I can. The only things I would change are maybe skipping a few bits of dialogue or adding in scenes for character development to give the audience more perspective. The story itself is beautiful and complete, I don't need to fix what isn't broken so to speak c:

I think that the last story that actually made me tear up was the Phantom of the Opera. It was after I watched the musical in person and at the end I was just sobbing.

Oh yes, it's fantastic! It's got some Beauty and the Beast aspects to it. Except the 'beast' doesn't turn into a handsome prince.
I can summarize it easily.
Erik, a genius deformed man that helped build the Paris Opera falls in love with an innocent ballet dancer,Christine, and poses as the "angel of music" that her father told her he'd send to her when he died.
He teaches her to sing beautifully and helps her get parts in various operas by blackmailing the management.
She finds out who he really is and is horrified.
Raoul a childhood friend and Viscount shows up and offers to take her away from her life as a poor singer.
Erik doesn't like this. Not. One. Bit.
Drama ensues, lives are threatened, background characters die, and the Opera cast/crew are terrorized by the "Phantom"
Big finale occurs, a standoff happens between Raoul, Christine and Erik where she has to choose to save her lover (whom is currently suspended and slowly strangling from a noose trap he fell for) and stay with Erik, or if she refuses to stay with him he kills the boy.
She snogs Erik, gaining their freedom. He loves her too much to keep her with him, making her miserable by having to live with a monster like him.
Raoul and Christine leave on a boat over the underground lake, Erik sings his reprise. An angry mob shows up to lynch the poor guy but all they find is his mask.
the end.
This is the Andrew Lloyd Webber version. I highly suggest getting a hold of the book by Gaston Leroux. It reads like, well...a journalist article. BUT it's really good and you get a better idea on Erik. If you get hooked by that I suggest Susan Kay's Phantom. GOD DAMN I love that book! I've read it a dozen times and it gets me every single time. (TT_TT)
