 Thank you. I remember a bit of how difficult this was. At this time, I had not tried to do big artworks in pen before plus with this illustration series, it was done back to back. Not quite sure if there was already an illustration behind one of these pages. If I made a mistake, there was no throwing it away

Thank you!!! This was quite an interesting challenge when I was doing it. When I was drawing the finished linework and values, I was hoping that the roofs would sit where they were supposed to and that there was enough space for the walls in each yard. I am glad it all worked out. The tree in the distance...I made black because I was too lazy to draw the leaves. The purple trees way in the distance, I was too lazy to draw the rest of the buildings so I extended the trees. I am still happy with the way it came out. I for some reason am most proud of the concrete wall that I did on the bottom right...don't know why but I just like it.

Ya the race thing confuses me too. I always thought that like Trevor Noah, colored is mixed but when I was looking for an example video to show you I saw a video and the comments underneath where of people saying that it's not (they were saying that colored is not a mixture and that anyone who is mixed is not colored...first time I ever heard of something like that). In South Africa there are black people, colored people and white people (different to american's where they regard mixed and black as the same). I know back in college my lecturer wanted to know how I felt about being labeled as colored (another thing is that some people do not like the label...)I grew up in a colored community, around predominantly colored people. We all identified as colored and we were happy about it. There is even a saying that goes "Bruin ou's are the main ou's" which is pronounced "brain oh's are the main oh's" which translates to roughly...coloreds are the cool guys (Bruin is Afrikaans for brown...) I grew up thinking coloreds were cool people. In fact a lot of people in South Africa think coloreds are cool people. 

I do get where my lecturer was coming from. She is colored. She studied in a time when there was a lot of racial tension and she lived in Germany for a while, while she was studying. I don't think her experiences of being colored were as proud as my experiences were. But I prefer the label. I see so many mixed race people in america that have identity issues because they don't know where they fit. My entire community is mixed, just like me and I feel like I belong somewhere...although I do want to leave these people at some point, lol.

The guy in the video that i showed was a bit of a bad example. He is from Cape Town and the colored community there have a very thick "Cape-tonian" (that is what we call it) accent. Coloreds from other parts like Durban and Johannesburg have an accent but not that much. People tell me I have a slight "Cape-tonian" accent.

By the way where are you from... i for some reason though that you were from the UK but on your page it just says unknown. If you do want to keep it that way you could note me or just not say where you from. I don't really know why I thought that you were from the UK.

 Thank you for sharing. I hope everything will get better soon. I also hope that more exposure to it will show everyone that something needs to be done.

It's fine. Would love to tell you that you are over thinking it but sadly things like that can happen. I currently have tape over the front camera of my phone. I doubt anyone would try to hack my phone just to watch me eat and youtube in my underpants but...I want to spare them from seeing my butt. America is also very big on surveillance so I don't blame you. I will say that if you don't know a lot about how privacy works PLEASE DO NOT research it. It may make you paranoid even more. Kind of hope that does not freak you out. Anywhoo,  thinking of everything that I have shared, it would be really easy to find me, lol.
