Whoa. I have to say that I've never liked Ultimecia (perhaps it was because she refused to snuff it when I was playing the game) but your depiction of her is absolutely stunning. My favorite part of the picture, though, is Griever. From what I remember, you have him spot-on. Really beautiful picture.

This picture is amazing. Absolutely amazing. ALL of your work is, but this one is possibly my favorite. Your ability to capture the human form is incredibly impressive, to say the least. Unlike so many artists, you kept everything in proportion, and you get a cookie or three for that alone.
The Griever wins. Hands down.
The entire piece deserves (and receives) my undying love.

Thanks a whole helluva lot! It's great to have people enjoy a finished work, and be able to get something out of it, though somewhere in there, it's also nice to have study and the like recognized in a piece (Referring to anatomical proportions).
Anatomy has always been my favorite subject in art. It's just a beautiful, intricate realm to delve into.
And i must say, a cookie was just what i needed today. But....three? I..i simply couldn't accep-
okay. I'll take them.

The human form is amazing, and it's always a treat to find someone who is able to capture it in their artwork and do it justice. Throw a Final Fantasy twist into the mix and you've got yourself a masterpiece. Indeed -- long live Final Fantasy, and the buzzes and tingles that keep us going. However they might be obtained.

It's half staying true to the canon material, and half personal interpretation. Finding the fair line between the two is the real challenge i spose.

@.@;;; This has got to be one of the most impressive FF artworks Iβve seen online. And better yet, itβs Ultemecia from Final Fantasy 8~ She did so kick ass and youβve captured her wonderfully here, her pose and the way her head is tilted back and I love the depiction of her attack( it looks like Hellβs Judgement to me with the glowy golden symbols on the top? =3 ) and Griever just looks eerie there behind her. Youβve really got a lovely comparison in size captured too between the GF and the sorceress~
And her costume. I keep staring at all the little details. Am a stickler for details and the stuff youβve put in here make me go. @.@; <3
The whole atmosphere in this pic just speaks of βthe end is nighβ yβknow? Is very hard I find to get that right and thereβs something appropriately unnatural about this image that really gets that across. =O

Hahah, well..it's just a thing i do, whenever a character is brought from cartoon or VG into a real-look, you have to qwerk certain things.
Same with her dress, etc.
It's a rule somewhere....in a book, that's someplace very difficult to find...yes...*nods assuredly, as though he knows what the hell he's talking about*

Beautiful doesn't even start to depict this piece, it's simply amazing! Ultimecia exudes power, but also sensuality by her stance and how her outfit doesn't show too much while remaining revealing. I'm really glad I finally found out who the artist behind that Ulti pic was, I'll be visiting your gallery regularly from now on.

Hey there. Thank you so much for your perspective on this one. I love hearing what each inidividual likes or dislikes in specific about this, or any piece really. There are always things i would like to change, though it's the best pat on the back to know that the basic idea behind this came through.
I certainly wanted to do her character justice.

The detail and lighting on this is fabulous! I would just comment that the feet look a little rushed. Maybe I would have preferred a more dramatic light source for her bottom half. It's too bright at the moment, so it sort of takes away from the dramatic effect of the picture.
Griever and the spell effects are wonderfully rendered, and the detail on her face is exquisite. Does Ultimecia have a long dress? I thought she did...

This is seriously one of my favorite works I've seen on DA. Ultimecia and Kuja are my two fav. villains mostly because to other people they're the most confusing. 8 was the best game to date, although 99% of the community won't agree with me. [People are too easily confused and they seem to be put off by something they can't grasp]. <3's Love it!
