Description
Apparently glowing effects are a mystery to a lot of people,but they're so easy! So here you go!
Apologies for the lame layout, I didn't want to use any more complex backgrounds to bring out the effects to their fullest.
Also apologies for typo's

I never use any other program but SAI, so I can't tell you how to do glow effects in PS, Gimp, etc...
(and I don't want to know either)

Maybe your version of SAI in incomplete?
There's a few different versions circling around. Maybe try getting a version from a different source

yea! I have the older version, so I downloaded the new new one. Besides, does these new modes are really good to use? :3

You can create some neat effects with them to shade or highlight your drawings
Just mess around with them to see what they do with different colors, they can be pretty neat.

okay so i make layers balh blah, luminosity blah, then when i use airbrush tool on the luminosty layer the bottom on just lightens no glow affect, i just use photoshop then import them over now >.>

Is your top layer clipped onto the bottom one?
Could you show me a screenshot of your layer setup and the effect you're getting?

i just take a white airbrush and make a few dots, that looks the same oO
