Description
We were on cemetery (Mirogoj, Zagreb) last saturday and I took some photos. I'm not satisfied at all. Maybe I expect too much form kit lens (Sony DT 18-70mm F3.5-5.6), or maybe I'm too bad photographer (which is more likely). I don't know. But this is not what I wanted

I'm not so proud on that photo. I had a bad lens then. Next time I will go there, I hope I'll take a better photo.
There are lot of beautiful crypts on Mirogoj.

I like the way you process your photos...just again the halo effect around the left tree...it should be removed.

Again, I agree with you. As soon as this snow stop to fall, and spring comes to my country, I hope I'll have more HDRs. Then I'll remove all those bad HDRs.

According to wikipedia... The Mirogoj Cemetery is considered to be one of the most beautiful cemetery parks in Europe. So, when you come to Zagreb, go to visit Mirogoj

This is a great shot. Never bash yourself and think that you're a bad photographer or you can't do it with a kit lens. This shot as a great eerie feeling and the extra glow of light around the doorway is great. One thing I have found with my camera is to make 5 exposures instead of just 3. That helps to capture the entire dynamic range of light and shadow.

I miss that 5 exposure, but even more I'm not satisfied with steps in bracket mode. I can do only -0.7/0/+0.7 which is not enough for any good hdr. But I found tuts on the net how to make it without bracket but that includes tripod which I don't like to use much. It seems I'll have to use to it
