Description
MB3D 189x2Background from texturez.com/
Huge multilevel entry to one of the huge cities where people sought refuge after most of the Earth became a wasteland. These cities are becoming unsustainable due to dwindling food resources. Industries and power sources are now under the custody of mercenaries. For the time being, energy supply is secured. This won't last for long. The equation is pretty clear, isn't it?
Note: As a railways lover, please don't label Maglevs as "trains", it's quite insulting!

are you ready? no? too bad! I see stacked diving platforms and bleachersΒ in a huge swimming pool hall. where's the confounded water?!!
I know we have six proposals for these critters here but I don't think we actually have one in operation. We don't have a very good "track record".

Ready or not it's always fun to know what you have in mind when looking at an image. No problem, I've got used to your style, anything can happen
Yep, there are six proposals. I'd say you better get in tune with true high speed corridors first (meaning flanged wheels on rails), not to mention Amtrak trains arriving to their destinations on time. Β

I'm afraid the love of the automobile has damaged the train as transport beyond repair. More's the pity - if I have to sit for several hours I'd rather ride than drive.

It certainly did, such selfish individualism! Quite the same here.
Definitely, I now prefer to ride than drive. Traffic is a chaos and can't understand why drivers keep on insisting in using their cars for everything. It's much more an expensive pain than something comfortable. Driving times are often no better than those of public transport.

I prefer lengthy travel to be done in public transport - I can snooze, read or just gaze out the window. Traffic, road construction and lack of parking at ones destinations kills the desire to travel. If push comes to shove I can arrange a rental car at my destination. As one nears the center of the Eastern corridor train travel becomes easier. I live too far north of the corridor ( as a friend of mine named it - bumblef...) and we lack even decent bus transport. Flying has lost it's luster too - lots going on there... I'd looked forward to traveling after the crush of middle age passed but prefer to travel the internet from the comfort of home - sweet dreams come to naught. I still keep my passport valid

Very much agree! Yep, the Northeast Corridor fell short both to the North and a connection to a Southern one... where is it? Ah, the Bush administration dumped it several times. You are right about flying too. At the moment you get to an airport is kind of stepping into a bank, you start to feel guilty and a criminal about nothing
Same this side about traveling on the internet but would have to renew my passport. Really don't want to go anywhere that's not within my country.

Very very cool! I have trouble seeing a magnitude of station-level (maybe the tiled background?), not idea really What I am seeing, but I Do love these stacked forms, the lights, the smoothness and the alien and at the same time earthly atmosphere of it!

No worries about wondering what you're seeing. The good point is that finally could complete a couple works with MB3D (still blocked).
Thank you very much for your always nice and welcome feedback
PS: This render would have been a disaster if not done at 1:3. Some kind Lady told me that
