Description
After watching both the RWBY and the Sakigake Otokojuku several times and knowing which characters that stands out, I decide to make this simple yet idealistic pic with Red Vs Blue themed.One is the two character that is both from the School themed series and the other you may or may not see those two together in various pictures, especially the fan animation that has those two fighting together.
There are alot of other anime character that works well as partner for Ruby Rose, but Tsurugi Momotaro is my first choice.
Though he is obscure of the 80's, I chose him for various reason that could be compatible with her.
Such as Momotaro is:
-The head of the first year and the team leader.
-His character design is either inspired by Kenshiro or a ripoff of him like Bruce Lee, resulting of the character being accused as unoriginal. Much like Ruby
-He is badass from the start of the episode.
-Like Ruby, he lacks character development (On the manga version that is) not to mention he always smile and remain calm and professional in spite of dire situation.
-Last but not at least, they have skill that are over the top yet has substance and not too mary sue.
That's not all, I bring it further by adding dialogue that reinforce the flavor.

Dialogue team intro:
Momotaro: Osu! otokojuku head of first year, tsurugi momotaro!
Ruby: i am ruby rose, leader of team RWBY. Justice will be swift, justice will be painful, and it will be...delicious!
Momotaro: heh. *chuckled*
Ruby: hey!
BRS: I dare you to try evil prince curry when we're done here.
Dante: Deal. That shit got nothing on me! (i think...)

Anyways, I won't say anything about Momotaro as never watched his anime or read the manga.
But with Ruby, all she really has in this fight is her semblance which gives her massive speed boost in terms of bullet timing. While Dante has shown slight FTL speeds within DMC2, not only that he has chrono heart, and quicksilver to slow her down, and also has Bangle of Time to completely stop Ruby in her tracks. BRS should at least be somewhere are bullet timing to slight FTL although I'm not sure.
With combat, Ruby has good training as huntress, but Dante has been fighting demons for a long time, and BRS has been fighting those things for who knows how long. Now with weaponry, Dante has so many weapons ranging ranging human made to straight up demonic weapons. Which also helps with his marksmanship. Ruby has great marksmanship, possibly on pars with BRS, but not Dante.
Now with physically, Dante edges out due to demonic heritage boosting his strength to superhuman level, and being able to block a punch from a sky scraper sized statue. He has also cleaved through demons with ease. While it takes Ruby a while to kill big Grimm creatures. BRS should be physically on par with Dante, but I'm not sure.
Now in durability Dante and BRS have taking loads of punishment, and have came back unsceathed, Dante mostly due to his healing factor, and BRS through sheer durability (except when she got her arm ripped off) Ruby has taken punishment but her aura protects her, and she hasn't taking the amount of punishment anyone of these people have.
With abilities: Dante has so many different abilities, through other devil arms, or magic stats, but that drains inferno energy, but he has a vast amount of it. BRS doesn't have much abilities, and neither does Ruby. Still not gonna say about Momotaro as I don't know him.
While I think Ruby is strong, and that Momotaro guy seems strong himself, however, I give my vote to Dante and Black β

People turning this from battle into a flame war can get annoying. I recently had a run in with a Vader fan that was mad not just at my choice but everyone's choice from a death battle from almost a year ago. You put me in a tight spot here. Dante is like the damn devil and then theres BRS being all cannon, sniper, sword kicking asses of aliens in games and other magical frenemies in the other world.Β
Thanks to your links i only watched one of Momo's movie (or OVA?) where he and his guys fights agaisnt 3s in Big Battle of August. He's the sword guy, who can get beaten still, and matching up to Dante. Lol holy shit. Then there's Ruby who can use semblances, her scythe and epic speed, but then matching up to BRS who can take down a giant skull agaisnt the red girl who can take out a nevermore but needs 3 of her teammates? I can see that the battle can still be epic, but its inevitable on whos side is going to loose, though i still love going on the side of Momo and Ruby. Lost my bet, no regret xD;;;
lets face it though. Ruby, who can heal, after some time, agaisnt BRS who doesnt even give a flying fck if she gets shot xD BUT, if she did get beheaded......Β
Ruby is kind of screwed without her scythe, BRS without cannon? No problem i guess derp. Perhaps a matchup with the OVA instead of the anime, Ruby can have a chance.Β
now i dont know much about dante, but reading your story from before, looking at images and gameplay can tell me that his partnership with BRS is cool because of how much they can be in common. His powers is the bomb. Momo is good with his swordmanship, but if he can bleed after the phoenix shockwave, he'll gush out just as much to whatever Dante can give. Plus Momo is pure human.

True for DAnte and BRS, but what Momo and Ruby does have a great advantage: FREAKING TEAMWORK which they actually do including their leadership towards their own member of their team.
The OVA/Movie is just an introduction so I recommend watch the anime and then start from chapter 70 all the way to the end in the manga so that you know the full extent of his actual fight.
Note that Momo only accept defeat through fighting until he is killed, and the fact he can support Ruby to improve her willpower through Otokojuku specialty Chime Yell in the way he would say to her:
"HURRAY HURRAY, RUBY! HURRAY HURRAY, RUBY!"
BRS destroying the big skull giant are most likely a weaker one that are prone to die in one hit unlike the Grimn which actually put a good fight.

Notice how Chun-li never mentions her. You'd think she'd show concern for her mother's feelings about the father's death...unless Chun-li never knew her mother. I had a theory that Chun-li's mother Β might have died while Chun-li was young, possibly from birth.Β
It would explain why Chun-li talks about her father so much. If her mother died while Chun was still young, her father would have brought her up alone. Being both the father and mother. The Father would be her only parental figure, so she has a deeper bond with him.
But it's just a theory. Though no one else talks about their family other then Ken & Guile in games. But it would explain Chun-li's backstory a bit more.Β
