POKEDDEX: YOUR CHOICE! VOL 2 has officially begun! During January 2019 I will draw one Pokémon each day based on the suggestions that you guys have sent me. Each Pokémon has been chosen with a poll so all the power is in your hands. Also by your request I will be submitting each painting individually. Usually I just post them as a single dump but I decided to try something different. Let's see how this works! I might still post a compilation of all paintings when they're done.

The Normal type of your choice is Arceus! The most normal Pokémon of them all! Arceus is something I would like to spent more time on, do a bigger and more detailed piece of it. But due to the fast paced nature of this challenge I have to keep these relatively quick. My first ideas were to either go with an insectoid or a mammalian creature. Due to the quite obvious qilin inspirations I decided to go with the mammalian approach. An insectoid might have more varied and creepy characteristics which would be fitting but maybe some other time. I mixed a vast range of animals such as deer, rhino, giraffe, horse, you name it. I did the armor and the weird folds in a similar manner to my Solgaleo design from a few years back. I'm probably going to come back to this design at some point and think some things through and make a much bigger piece! An A5 sized paper isn't quite sufficient to capture the majesty of this beast.
