POKEDDEX: YOUR CHOICE! VOL 2 has officially begun! During January 2019 I will draw one Pokémon each day based on the suggestions that you guys have sent me. Each Pokémon has been chosen with a poll so all the power is in your hands. Also by your request I will be submitting each painting individually. Usually I just post them as a single dump but I decided to try something different. Let's see how this works! I might still post a compilation of all paintings when they're done.

WE'RE HALFWAY THERE! I have to admit I felt slight terror as I saw Dialga getting a load of votes. I absolutely love Dialga and would have totally voted for it as well but it's such a huge Pokémon I haven't really drawn much at all so I was thinking this would take a while. I only have a limited time to draw each day so delays are risky business if I want to keep uploading things daily.

Anyway, long story short, my DrawDinovember challenge had supplied me with lots of good references and a good touch with drawing dinosaurs so Dialga was surprisingly easy to do! I like the design choices I made here. I based it on a mix of a ceratopsid and a sauropod with some extra features such as stegosaurus plates. I really like how the head and the crest turned out. The DrawDinovember had a lot of cool crested dinos so they were great inspiration for Dialga's crest. This is definitely one of my personal favourites so far!
