The Bard expected Lake Mead to be no more. There'd been little hope across the Mojave since the Cloud had arrived, so why would fate give him a break? Yet as he navigated the canyons left in the water's wake, he found himself faced by another symbol of the world that had been left behind: a titan from a time long lost. Some small part of his adventuring spirit from 20 years prior filled him with excitement of the history behind it; the rest of his stoic mind now simply wondered if it still stored military rations.
