Description

A long sigh left the Runwell as he turned into the familiar street he knew and loved, the night sky glittering with stars as they gazed down upon the quiet London street. He could see his house up ahead, his body and adrenaline already unwinding from the plane ride, as bumpy and turbulent as it had been. He had been away on mission for the last week and a half, taking care of smuggling rings and reporting back to CHROME with all his findings. There had been a close shave at some point, they suspected there was one amoung them, though they blamed another car, one of their own funnily enough, and disposed of him. But now he was home, and he couldn't wait to see the smiling face of his daughter... no doubt she was still up, she always was on his nights home.

The lights flickered as he approached, hearing giggling from inside the house as he readied his keys, the sound filling him with a blissful happiness. Though upon opening the door, his smile seemed to fade immediately, nothing but carnage facing the car as he slowly drove through. Paint was spilled everywhere, and the babysitter was coated, Shadow zipping to the walls and scrawling in babble on the walls... before spotting Leland, and barreling over as fast as she could go.

"DADDY!" She shrieked, launching for his hood and scrambling up to his roof, settling down immediately as Leland continued to stare.

"My carpet..." He could only utter, as the paint seemed to drip from every surface imaginable.

Sorry Leland, your carpet is ruined. I never said raising Shadow would be easy XD

I ended up not feeling so great today, and ended up drawing this as a doodle, before i put a little bit of effort behind it
Leland needs a new house now, probably
and a new babysitter
