I just wanted to give a simple shout out to who recently lost Tsuki-a white budgie bird and a dear friend. Hence forth, all the birds in this piece are dedicated to her and her little companion. I am sorry for your loss, and hope the future finds you well.*hugs*

XD Haha that song has been stuck in my the ENTIRE time I've worked on this.

^_^ This is my entry for contest.
The idea is to put Lucille and Franc in another couples role from say, a musical or animated feature.
When I saw the announcement I instantly went, " Beauty and the Beast!!!"
Cause I luvs that show~

Anyway!
The concept behind this evolved numerous times.
It started off as being comical, then reflective, and finally settled on downright adorable.
I don't have alot of friends that I would accidentally fall asleep around (let alone upon) and that became my focal point.
I believe there would have to be a fair amount of trust to feel that at ease in anothers company.
^_^ So there ya go!

I enjoyed drawing the little birds, and although my original thought was to have Lucille shoo'ing them away (he's a giant bug people!) I figured he wouldn't mind their company one bit as long as Lucille was at his side..

Regardless, Franc is adorable. ^_^ and he will keep Lucille safe and warm.
