Lucille was the last one to come.
Though it would forever remain unsaid between them, the others felt with a certainty that even now, everything could still be undone, as long as she refused to accept it.
It had taken sleepless nights, innumerable tears, and days devoted to silence.

But finally,
she had.

He was waiting for her when she arrived.
Nobody had seen him for days as he huddled in the depths of the enclosure, strictly confining himself to the corners void of light. But, the moment she entered he had emerged, finally revealing himself behind the thick and lidless glass.

Lucille would have scarcely recognized him, he had changed so much over the past few weeks...save for his eyes.
Oh, why did his eyes have to remain the same through all of this?

They never changed...

It would have been easier if they did.

Not sure what I think about this one.

I feel like the idea was good, it's the execution that's lacking.

I Was listening to 'King of Fools'[link]
and 'Where do we draw the line' [link] by Poets of the Fall
and got this image stuck in my head.
I was so fixated on it I simply had to draw it right that instant-So I spent most of Saturday morning quarantined in my room working away at this.
I had some reservations over sharing it, but I"m trying to be more open with my work.
So there ya go.
May be scrapped later~
