...this is probably one of the most enjoyable pictures I've created in a while. I'm really quite proud.
Syndrome, in all his exploding glory. See, everyone was worried about me taking out the lower half of his legs in Icarus, but I honestly don't see it as a bad thing.
I mean, talk about opportunity! Who needs rocket boots when you can have rocket-based appendages? XD
(I'm really quite happy with how his outfit came out, too. Teehehehe. *grins gleefully* And when it comes to the flames, the reference is all my own. Who knew that taking so many fireworks pictures on the 4th of July could be a good thing?)
Syndrome belongs to Brad Bird, P1xar, and D1sney. This version of him (especially with the goatee) is all my own. =^__^=

I sketched violet for the first time and I gave her a new outfit. I don't dream really of putting it up though... :/ >> her hips aren't in preportion with her shoulders.

You should definitely put it up! I'm sure we would all enjoy it. And if here hips don't quite match up, then that's okay--her shape in the movie is odd anyway, so it wouldn't be such a big difference. *shrugs*

On a completely unrelated note, a lady I know had a baby today. Named her Lyla Ann Arnold. Now say that out loud.

It's just a more angular version of an "S," actually, for Syndrome. *shrugs* I wanted it to be in a similar style to the very angular "V" Violet sports.

as another syn fan said, i could recognize the facial hair as your art, but also the style (well more the style) XD.
i'm really loving his super suit remake :3 and the z-p energy beams all liquefied 8D.

And as for the idea, you can give Syndrome himself full credit for the idea. XD He was more than a little mad that I cut off so much of him, that his inspirational muse pounded into my skull into I came up with something fitting.

"i'm really loving his super suit remake :3 " It needed to be done, and my thought was that if I had to change the design, I would make something cool, sleek, and fitting someone of his age and relative emotional range. While still being made of stylishness.
More will be coming, I promise! I just have to work on my Hey Arnold piece first. ^__^;;

Well, much as I like the Awkward Times version...I kinda like Icarus better, no offense intended. XD I mean, Rammstein is freaking awesome, and there really is no topping Syndrome when it comes to the destruction he can pull. However...it's hard not to have preference over one's own version of a character. *laughs*

8D THIS IS EPIC WIN RIGHT HERE.
I was looking up Synlet earlier on another computer that I wasn't signed into but I didn't have enough time to look at this in detail, but I saw it and I was like "I bet Sherry drew that, 'cause he has a goatee." I was right. XD
I'm not sure why but I just LOVE his expression, and the pose.

ME TOO! I mean, originally when I drew the sketch I was kinda like, "well, it's different than I usually draw him, and I'm not sure if I like the shape of the head or the proportions, but lets see what I can do with it," and it turned out BRILLIANTLY! It's all in the evil grin, I swear, because as I imagine the scene, it's like he finally gets to be destructive after having been holed up in a prison for years. And not only is he being destructive, but it's with the assurance that the one Super he's with isn't going to stop him. Which makes it all the more fun.
And the pose is wonderfully amazing. I have to say, Buddy must have been controlling my hand as I was drawing this, because it's really the only way I can explain how cool it turned out to be. XD
