Commission for Sodaburger who, like JIMH, also asked for a Labyrinth-related image. Although Sodaburger was a little more specific in that she wanted me to draw, "the Honorable, His Nibs." XD Which I have no idea what that means, but I'm guessing that it's probably a reference to the Roommates and Girls Next Door crossover comics. YAY!

In any case...to explain this situation, I'm a little fuzzy on the details. At first I wanted her in an airport, and then I decided that it would be more fun for her to be a writer taking a vacation at a bed and breakfast. The same bed and breakfast that Jareth, "Jare" (short for Jared Reid) has been frequenting once a year, in order to save his sanity (he is, after all, the King of the Goblins).

I imagine that Sarah first gets freaked out, then gets affronted by his intrusion on her vacation. But is soon somewhat mollified by the fact that the landlady thinks that he's adorable and absolutely the bees knees of a gentleman. ^^ And eventually Jareth would talk to her like an equal and she would set aside her, erm, past unfortunately relationship with him in order to just talk for a while.

Yep. Fun stuff.

Jareth the Goblin King belongs to David Bowie, Jim Henson, and Brian Froud (for designing the look and clothing). Sarah Williams belongs to Jennifer Connelly and Jim Henson. YAY!
