exceptionally great conceptual work.
you seem to have a good eye for concept work and the meaning of form. Wish some of my contributing photographers had the same eye! Would make my life a lot easier

I've thought about it, but I'd rather be known as an art photographer than a stock photographer. I think that it just goes better with who I am and my personal beliefs about photography.

Fair enough. I also want to be known as an art photographer, but till then I have to shoot stuff for the sale and not for the soul, so I run ImageBase.

i like the writing but the yellow tone and darkness are horrible in my eyes. they do add reality, candle light feeling if that's what u were looking for. although the composition is generally nice the photo doesn't offer us much, it's just a book with handwriting and that's it. that sounds rude but u know...i guess i just like to see a story or somthing there.

It's a tiny bit underexposed, but good, the off-white balance gives it that antique look. A little more exposure with a touch of contrast may have made this better.

The theme is almost cliche, but it's so well executed that it doesn't matter. Well done, and such warm colors.
