Description

Designed by Di Tron Heavy Industries' newly-created 'Mech and Vehicle Design Department, the Chevalier would be Di Tron's entry for the SLDF Design Requirement 04H/2760 competition, which aimed for the adoption of a new trooper heavyweight 'Mech that would be deployed alongside SLDF staples like the Warhammer and Marauder. Although Di Tron had produced Dropships, Jumpships and Warships for centuries, this would be the company's first and only foray in the Battlemech market.

Ultimately unsuccessful and not adopted still several small scale production runs were used by elements within the SLDF for testing, development and field deployment.

The Chevalier is part of a fanon project i'm working on and is part of my Zhukov AU - thezhukovau.wordpress.com/ although this one won't be sent in the current period and will focus on special forces of the SLDF as well as a slew of 'Mechs that were designed but never saw full service. With any luck the PDF will be done by August/September and will be a free download as always.
