Dervish IIC

The initial batch of Dervish IIC's were not new Mechs, indeed they were very old ones that Clan Burrock found when a Cache of Mechs was discovered. Of the scores of Dervishes in the Cache most were well preserved and could be reconditioned. Although primitive by modern standards, they were ideal for the resource limited Burrocks who refitted the Mech's with more modern, lighter weapons and replaced the age worn armour with a thick layer of higher quality but still 'standard' plate.

This resulted in some visual changes and finally a pair of ER Small Lasers and a single Flamer were installed.

The Mechs in the worst condition were stripped and their parts used to refurbish others, and they were also studied for reproducing the design.

Because of their simple nature if was rather easy to set up a small production line for the Mechs, and soon enough other Clans would start trialing for the design, starting its slow spread throughout the Homeworlds from the 3030's onwards.
