Description

The Mechwarriors and support staff of the SOE are listed as MIA or KIA, are buried with all due reverence and their families given a pension, but they're perfectly alive. Chosen for their piloting and marksman skills as well as an utter loyalty to House Cameron, each member of the SOE is fully trained in special forces operations and is expected to be able to pilot any vehicle or 'Mech should the situation arise. Outside of their cockpits whilst on operations, they wear webbing and will usually be equipped with a M-4011 PDW. This Mechwarrior seen here is in his or her field outfit, wearing their neurohelmet which also doubles as a combat helmet. As most operations and targets didn't require the Mechwarrior to leave their cockpit they rarely donned their webbing but it was there if needs be. But only if their Mech was intact. If an SOE 'Mech was disabled or its pilot rendered non-combat capable then scuttling charges would be fired either by the onboard computer system when it detected a flatline, or by the pilot if their 'Mech couldn't be recovered. This would kill them and utterly destroy the 'Mech, leaving no salvage behind for examination.
