I've been dipping my foot back into traditional art after not doing any traditional work for... years. I also chose to participate in Inktober, but not follow any theme and just make sure I draw something everyday. I figured why not kill two birds with one stone and draw a bunch of Danny stuff for those sweet sweet points.

Just.... ignore the weird texture quality. I used copic markers in my Moleskine cahier and a brandless sketchbook I use whenever I want white pages, and they produce this weird texture in the Moleskines. I would switch sketchbooks but I don't wanna waste this one sooooo. Also, these pieces aren't up to the same quality that I put into my digital work. Something I really wanted to focus on for these traditional pieces was just working and enjoying it and not trying to make them look super nice. I just want to successfully draw everyday without caring about quality for this stuff.
This was actually the sixth thing I drew for Inktober but I put it up top because I'd already merged the layers of the previous drawings and couldn't put it underneath the real number one, oops. Anyway, was just messing with profiles because I'm not good at profile bodies. Kinda regret the background colors I used. I picked them because they're colors I don't use much.
The actual first page of this photoset. I drew these before October began. Was just messing around. Decided to try drawing Danny's pokemon because I'm not very good at those either. I also messed around with the idea of Steele with his hair down but I don't think you can tell much that it is?
My friends Vampiresquidling and Kaliblu were talking about Swablu and Altaria OCs and it got me thinking of an Altaria Mask concept. This was my first pass at it, but it felt too simple.
Another pass at that Altaria Mask. I liked this one better. (The orange spot is a sticky note where I redrew over a part I messed up.)
Drawn before October and before I went out and bought a marker for Danny's skin color. Just a little gym selfie. I might redo this digitally sometime. (My gray was starting to run out here.)
I got some pink markers so I decided to draw Ringu. I don't even own his Mask yet but I just love him so much that I gotta draw him sometimes. This was also an experiment in layering markers to achieve the colors I needed. Ringu's arms/clothes are a mix of three colors and his hair/fur is two colors together.
Steele hanging out on top of a building. My grays were dying so it doesn't look as good as it could. More profile work since I struggle so much with profile bodies.
Vampiresquidling makes real good Alolan Muk OCs and it got me thinking about an Alolan Muk Mask and I REALLY WANT IT NOW..... I honestly think this might be Danny's third Mask, I just love it so much.....
I did a three marker challenge and got violet, wisteria, and neutral gray #2. I like this concept so I might redo this one digitally at some point too. I messed up his hand but didn't want to redraw it so it's just... there now.
My fiancee and I switched art supplies for a challenge, so she got to use all my markers and stuff and I had to use her colored pencils. I.... didn't like it. I'm not good at colored pencils and am not really happy with how this came out...
I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THIS ONE THE FIRST TIME. Just a little doodle of Danny in a Rockruff Kigurumi. This was done after the Alolan Muk second image on the same day and I didn't feel like coloring it properly so I just used some pinks I hadn't used much yet.
