this is my take on them in my Clone Wars AU:

Arvo was a human male soldier from the planet Lin Nega, a member of the Lin Nega Resistance and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He had a long service record in the Lin Nega's Militia, fighting against pirates, slavers and smugglers. During an encounter with Weequay Raiders employed by the Hutts, Arvo was slashed across the face by a vibroblade, left with a distinctive scar after an extended bacta therapy session. When Count Dooku declared the formation of the Separatist Alliance in 24 BBY, Lin Nega was one of the first worlds to join, though Arvo was not the biggest fan of the newfound patriotism for the Separatist Movement. In 21 BBY, Arvo and his men received a message from High command; Confederacy Intelligence had revealed that officials in Lin Nega's government have been secretly negotiating with the Galactic Republic, and by Count Dooku's order they had arrested the Prime Minister and other conspirators. A collaborator who was not present at the meeting was General Soloma, commander of the Lin Nega's armed forces. After returning to the capital from inspecting a garrison in the next town, he was accosted CIS Agent Boijev, Arvo and his troops, and a BX-series commando droid squad. However, Arvo and his men still held loyalty for General Soloma, and had a change of heart. They blasted Boijev and his droids, Arvo using his favorite SE-14b blaster pistol, as well as his Zhaca A-7 blaster rifle and guided Soloma away, to a Jedi retrieval team sent by the Republic, so they could safe Soloma and use his information's to rally Lin Nega's people against the CIS. Whit a help of smuggler captain, Republic sent a small clone unit, lead by Jedi Council Member and General Mace Windu, General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano. They were accompanied by reptilian Medic officer Apep Picolo and his brother Zack. Days later, Soloma's team had established a base in an old quarry, when Windu arrive whit Tano, Apep and two clone troopers, while Skywalker drew the droids' attention whit rest of the clone's and Resistance. During a meeting, one of the clones was revealed to be a Separatist turncoat after an attempted assassination on General Soloma.

The clone was subsequently killed by Zack. After rescue, Soloma requested he speak to the Republic Senate, with the hope that they can mobilize Republic forces to attack the CIS positions. Arvo and his men would accompany them. Using a commandeered Militia's Troop Transport the group made their way to the hidden Jedi shuttle, when they were cut by droid roadblock. While Arvo and men's stayed with the resistance to hold back the droids, the retrieval team continued they journey to the shuttle and escape through the blockade, while the sergeant and the Resistance disappeared into the woods. It would take a year's worth of talking with certain senators and High Command, but Soloma finally convinced the Senate to intervene on Lin Nega, and the resistance assisted the Republic invasion force. A massive turbolaser tower located outside the capital prevented Acclamator-Class assault cruisers from landing. Arvo and his Resistance squad led a squad of clone ARC troopers on special assignment to sabotage and destroy the tower. They successfully infiltrated the Separatist defenses, but were caught once they finished planting the charges. The droids gunned them down, but before Arvo succumbed to his wounds, he successfully triggered the charges, collapsing the tower and making way for the invasion. Arvo's sacrifice allowed the Republic to drive Separatist forces off world and take Lin Nega. Unknown of his betrayal the Separatists after retaking the world once Count Dooku had betrayed Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and revealed him to be Darth Sidious, thereby starting the massive Separatist Rim-Counteroffensives. During these Confederacy of Independent Systems push deep back into the Inner Rim and Colonies Lin Nega was retaken and Arvo mistakenly believed to be a Separatist hero who had died during the Republic attack, his betrayal never been known, as all data and the Resistance Squad led by him itself had collapsed and been lost during the towers destruction, thereby building a statue in his honor on a public place.
