Known as a species of diminutive sentient native to the planet Patitite Pattuna, the Patitites had once been ruled by a the dictator Hay-Zu until the Clone Wars. Then suddenly and unexpected Hay-Zu was killed accidentally by the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 when the latter stepped on him. The Patitites then asked C-3PO to be their new leader. C-3PO refused and instead helped them establish their democracy and elect their new leader. But as the droids left, fighting broke out among the Patitites about who would become their leader. When the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems landed on the world, the Patitites welcomed their battle and labor droids as godsend beings and the Confederate Conglomerates soon abused this world view to exploit the locals as workers in their mines, since their small size made them fit even in tiniest places, as well as train and use them as mechanics for the same purpose. One of the Patitites Hunters, named Koyte therefore joined the Separatist Military, after serving as a droid mechanic for them before and to his own surprise was accepted for political reasons, as the local Separatist Conglomerates wanted even better relationships with the locals, to further exploit them in exchange for close to nothing. Much to the surprise of his fellow Separatist Commanders, Admirals and Generals however, Koyte was actually rather skilled and used his experience in hunting, ambushing and setting traps for enemies or rivaling groups with great efficiency against Galactic Republic Clone Troopers and Republic Troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, as well as later Storm Troopers of the Galactic Empire. The only problem Koyte had was that because of his tiny height, statue and limited strength he himself was unable to keep up with enemy forces to close to his command position. Luckily his small size allowed him to flee trough the ventilation shafts a few time and that way escape being captured by the Galactic Republic. Knowing that this would tarnish his reputation as a Separatist Commander, Koyte came up with ideas to fix this limitations and problem with his own species limitations.

To do that he modified a B2 Super Battle Droid, so he could operate it as a suit from inside it’s torso, an idea that allowed him to not only accompany his organic and battle droid forces directly to the front-lines and even survive some heavy fire directed at him and them, but also to dish out a heavy fire salvo himself upon the enemy forces, especially their infantry, but also their tanks thanks to grenades and rockets launched from the droids arms, while the hardened armored body-case protected him inside the B2 Super Battle Droid. At the same time he had several hatches at the head, back, front and sides to escape out of the B2 Super Battle Droid Torso whenever the situation would call for it. Koyte’s strange and unique B2 Super Battle Droid armored exosuit, as well as his own species small size made him stand out among most other Separatist Commanders, as he was not only small but rather very tiny, something Koyte would often use to his advantage, especially for escapes, but sometimes even ambushes. The Separatist Propaganda of the Confederacy of Independent Systems would also focus on Koyte for his size, claiming that if he could do his part, every citizen could in hopes more organic forces outside of already existing militia and system or sector armies would enlist for their cause. With his own experience Koyte also made more modifications for his B2 Super Battle Droids, like building in additional Flamethrowers beside the double blaster cannon (Wrist blaster), as well as a second pair of both in the upper arms, so they could still function even if an enemy Jedi would cut of the B2 Super Battle Droids arms right in the middle, as they so often liked to do once they had come close enough to these droids, thanks to force increased speed or jumps. Koyte also was not only seen as a hero, but a demigod among the other Patitites, since he had archived to become one with the machine liberators that were droids. Luckily for him his cockpit and life support inside the B2 Super Battle Droid did not take up more space then the droid brain processor, or even a cybernetic organic trooper brain taken from a veteran and then put into a battle droid. Thanks to this and the technology involved in these cybernetic Separatist forces his own cockpit unit had not been a hard task to build and was rather easy to operate.
