Description
based on www.deviantart.com/d-skelton/a…Jald Iedom was a member of the humanoids indigenous Krish species native to Sanza (also known as Krish or Krisha), who like all members of his species had smooth-skin and large faces dominated by bony ridges above the eyes and nose, as well as pointy teeth in his mouth and short, wiry hair. Loving to play games of any sorts and smiling for nearly all forms of entertainment, that loved puzzles or extreme adversity, they were known to make easy task harder for themselves. A lover of games in general they were seen as unreliable and Jald Iedom was famous as a mercenary fighting from his swift swoopbike, who occasionally also partook in swoopdueling tournaments. During the new wars against the Mandalorians and Darth Maul at the End of the Clone Wars he would join the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a mercenary. Not the most skilled Separatist Commander, he became known for his ruthless approaches, that often brought him victory, despite heavy Battle Droid losses, leading to the need of his armed forces to repair much larger droid numbers after battles then most other separatist. This naturally made him one of the least favorite Separatist Commanders for the Conglomerates who disliked his heavy losses and battle droid end vehicle costs until the employed him to defend independent member systems that they then could bill all losses occurred in a battle as they had been necessary for the defense of their world, lives and liberties. All of the sudden the Krish Commander Jald Iedom was one of their most favorite ground leaders, at last as long as he did not command their own installations directly. Unaware of this and how the Separatist Leadership truly felt about his skills as a commander, Iedom liked how locals celebrated him for defending them and often was already in another mission when this attitude changed the very second the Separatist Conglomerates presented the Member Systems with the bill for the costs of these defense of their liberty and freedom against the Republic and later the Imperials alike. It never occurred to Commander Jald Iedom that he was seen as a brutish and not very tactic and strategic skilled leader, whose early victories actually resulted from the brutal and direct approach he used against still very inexperienced and often surprised and overwhelmed Republic Commanders.
The more the Clone Wars however turned Rimward and the more local defenses and Battle Droid numbers were given, the more his lack of superior skill to do it with fewer losses and smarter was hidden by the fact that he simply had the numbers to come out on top more often then not, even if the losses received often lead to evacuations or the need for fresh reinforcements afterwards. His time to shine whoever came again during the Separatist Rim Counter Offensive and the Push to the Colonies, as well as in the later Bacta War, when Count Dooku needed a harsh, direct approach to keep the Republic and Imperial enemies from recovering fast enough and establish true defenses. Direct, rash and also rushing Commanders like the Krish Commander were therefore needed and Jald Iedomcould once more proof that he was worty and archived victories, even at high costs and prices. During this operations the Separatist Leadership and Conglomerates often used him ti liberated independent member worlds that had fallen into Republic or Imperial hands before, so that they afterwards would be in debt of the Conglomerates who had liberated them and now had their Battle Droid Armies on these worlds, leading to lucrative taxation, successor extraction, production and trade deals for the Confederate Conglomerates on nearly all of these worlds, efficiently making them depending assets of this Conglomerates, so much that institution like the InterGalactic Banking Clan would be able to send advisers to the local government who nearly gained total control by vetoing in how, when and what these governments would be allowed to spend money on in exchange for them not increasing the debt, but actually make them able to repay them for their freedom. At the same time the Sepratist Conglomerates brought new jobs with rebuilding factories, miens and industries, as well as housing for their workers, even if it often wasn’t very luxurious, while their need for transportation repairs the local infrastructure as well, aiding in the reconstruction of this worlds, even if it mostly was a byproduct of their greed to invest and trade so they would gain even more Credits out of these worlds.
