Description
This Father's Day, we will see the debate on the subject of father/parenthood between some of the worst, most strict and most stubborn fathers against the kindest, most caring, more patient and of course semi-oblivious father in history.Started with Goofy and Cassim.
Cassim is the father of (Disney's)Aladdin. Long before the events of the film and cartoon series, Cassim lived the same homely street life Aladdin once lived, wanted more than what he had and being called "street rat". He left his wife and baby son to find a better life. At some point, he became leader of the Forty Thieves, and began a search for the Hand of Midas, which could turn things into gold. One night, years later, He learned that his son, whom he thought was lost to him, has been alive all that time. Still fixated on searching for the golden hand, Cassim pretended to attend Aladdin's wedding to Princess Jasmine in order to take the oracle scepter.
Goofy: What you did was the most unforgivable act of fatherhood ever. Fathers must never leave their children, except for when they have to go to work.
Cassim: What good would they have done for me, of my family? You don't know what it was like to have nothing.
Goofy: Nothing? I had a son. The only thing worth more to me than all the gold in the world.
Cassim: Don't talk to me like I'm the kind of father who abandoned his family for his own desire. I knew exactly what i wanted for my family, the best. I did what I have to do to give them the best.
Goofy: The only best thing you could possibly had given them was love, that is the best thing in the world to give your family. That was the best thing I could have given my son, even though he's no longer my little boy.
