When I worked as a student at a florist (during grade 10), a police officer came by and noticed me. He asked if I was 21, but I told him I was actually 15 (I'm tall for my age). The look on his face XD

I had this problem A LOT when I was younger (circa 14-17). 30-something year old guys would flirt with me on the internet. I ended up blocking one of them when he tried to squeeze my personal address out of me. Creepy.

This happened to one of my friends at an airport. She was 18 and flying alone to California. When the stewardess asked for all unattened kids under 12 she kept looking pointedly at her when she didn't come up. I've also had people thinkbmy little sister is my twin or older sister too. So very funny and SO true.

"How to Serve Man." The book's about these aliens that come down to earth and help humanity, until someone finds and translates their main book, which is the same title as the novel, I think.

this happens to me and my friends. They think that Harmony, my 14-yr-old friend, is Deanna's (Harmony's mom) and my mother. It's hilarious. XD cuz she's sooooo damn tall. And, even though i'm short, guys think i'm in college or 18 or something. (I'm guessing it's cuz of the D-cups but....it's annoying.)

Random (semi) related story: I was once confused for a college freshman. While I was in SEVENTH GRADE.
...to give the guy credit, I WAS on a college campus, and without my mom, who was in grad school there at the time. And he did start guessing ages in the high school level, and I do look older than I am...but still.

When my brother was 19 we went out to eat once and the lady serving us asked him if he wanted a kids menu...seriously!? He is 5'9...does that suggest little kid to you?
Then of course people always assume I am older than I am...when I was in the 5th grade I went shopping for a dress with my mom and that lady the came to help us asked if it was going to be for prom.

Since I cut my hair shorter and updated my wardrobe, the average guess on my age has gone from 15 to 18. Still two years short. XD So I feel ya.

This sort of happens with my older sister and I.
I look younger than I am anyway... and I used to look about 12 even when I was 17 (which was only last year)...
She's 8 years older and yet looks maybe...3 or 4 years older, but because she's shorter, random really-extended-Indian-family-members always assume I'm older.
This was funny when I was doing my GCSEs because they'd all ask me how university was going, and her what grade she was in at school!

I wonder if hair length has anything to do with it. When my hair was long I was mistaken for as old as 23 when I was 16, but once I cut it, I got carded for the first time and nobody flirted with me anymore...
