I've always found a mirror to be helpful when referencing some poses, whether it be for the perspective or the basic dynamic lines.

First of all, awesome.
Second, IMHOTEP!!! That is the best scene out of all three movies because it is TeRrIbLe! I crack up every single time and I make references to it sometimes with my friends and they just look at me like I'm a dummy dumb.
Another helpful tip (with any part of a drawing, really) is looking at it in reverse, like in a mirror or something. Mirror a drawing you've been working on and suddenly every little thing that's off is suddenly glaring.

I actually enjoyed this tutorial and took the time to read it all the way through! It was VERY helpful and almost entirely effective on my works, (considering that to a degree, I had to work on some things on my own.) As far as anime poses go, well, hell, I'm going to try combining the two since I personally love anime...
(insert massive trolling of people who hate it here)
But yes, poses can be very difficult for me, which is why I found this so helpful. And the additional advice was a greater help. Anyone looking at my works would notice I avoid poses almost entirely... - . -;;; Well... I hope to change that. So... once again, thank you and kudos for having the patience to read this all the way through!

This is really helpful, I've been struggling lately coming up with different poses or just interesting drawings, everything always comes out stiff and I end up drawing the same poses :/ This was very helpful though thanks!
