i think you might of saved me a few months of guilt. i was getting really irritated that i couldnt draw people right, something was always off with them. i was actually considering just not drawing anymore because no matter WHAT i did, i could never fix the....weird noodle-y-ness of them
this helped me so much thank you!

You just had to go and put cursing in here... -_- This is really good and helpful. But is that really necessary?

Yep! At least, that's how I chose to write it. It's okay for you not to like it.

I hate to ask the blaringly obvious question but, is it OKAY to draw the curvy lines to pull the poses? I always thought it had to be anatomically correct, and that didn't involve having curved bodies like that. They, I guess, are like noodles? I don't think I'm explaining myself correctly, but I'll state an example.
The pose of a girl who looks like she's gonna punch something. I know girls are usually curvy and everything, but the way her arm curves is a bit loose and noodle-y to me. Is that okay? I think it looks nice. I'm just wondering if poses in general look better if they're like that.

The way you draw always depends on your goal. Is your goal to be photo-realistic? in which case, no, probably don't draw your figures with so many reduced lines. Is your goal to show movement and flow? Then it's possible that overly-detailed renders could hinder that. It's really up to your decision... as long as the final product communicates whatever you intended, then you've succeeded
