Description
The descendent of the venerable Eta-4 Interceptor that served in the late-Clone Wars, Confederate-Republic War, and the early Galactic Civil War, the Eta-10 capitalizes on successive engineering advancements tested on the Eta-6, 7, and 8 starfighters (of which didn’t see Republic service, but were instead picked up by local planetary defense forces), boasting a stronger hull, advanced sensors, additional weaponry (bolstered by the presence of a rear-facing gunner), and a more powerful hyperdrive, essentially making the Eta-10 one of the fastest craft in the galaxy.
Kuat Systems Engineering, in a radical departure to modern starfighter design, modeled the latest in its Eta line after Nubian aesthetics, drawing inspiration from pre-Clone Wars ships that served in a far less rough-and-tumble era of galactic history. The end result was a sleek, almost delicate-looking fighter that belied its combat advantages.
The Eta-10 was ordered by the Great Galactic Republic shortly after its first T-89 squadrons were stood up, rounding out their fighter wings with dedicated interceptor units. Alongside the X-Wing Ultra and the Super Y-Wing, the Eta-10 is expected to be more than a match for the Empire of the Hand’s latest TIE-series of Starfighters.

My gosh! Look at this design, it's so interesting. I must say Adamkop sure did a perfect job on the Eta-10 Interceptor. I bet it was in use by the New Republic Defense Fleet , but a few of them would be atomized by the First Order Starkiller base along with the Hosnian System.
But I bet there are a few of them still out there in the Galaxy with other New Republic Capital ships and stuff. That interceptor carries the design on the A-wing Starfighter and the Delta 6 Jedi Starfighter.

a beautifual ship but this is clearly not an interceptor. why would it have tail guns? this more like the ARC-170 in terms of purpose aggressive recon, patrol and rapid strike craft.

This looks awesome, though I question the design having a rear-facing turret+gunner. That seems more like something you'd put on a bomber or assault fighter.

Those are the twin laser cannons. The missile launchers flank either side of the canopy at the outer edge of the fuselage.

Actually, to better the odds of pilot survival you kind of need some kind of protection, and you're only the fastest until you get hit.

I wanted something that wasn't angled like the X-Wing Ultra or the Y-Wing Advanced. I figured that ETA-10 might take inspiration from the pre-Clone Wars craft instead.

Was the Father and Son of the Suns a part of the ancient times before the Galactic Republic or set far into the future long after the original trilogy?! I had seen something about it as a game but I was not sure WHEN it was set.

It's actually my alternate universe fan setting, where Anakin and Mace defeated Sidious and changed the course of galactic history.

Sounds great. That one scene was the key moment of whether Anakin would fall or stay back and let Mace deal with Sidious. Anakin said to Mace it was not the Jedi way and Mace argues that Sidious is too dangerous to keep alive (and Mace was correct to me) but Anakin killed Darth Tyrannus (Count Dooku) in cold blood but that was OK, right?! The only concern I would have is if Mace would fall to the dark side himself. Mace's fighting style is canon as touching the dark side to gain more power in combat but after the battle is over, Mace can calm down and reject any further taste of the Dark Side. This is one reason he has a purple lightsaber as it indicates a Jedi that can "touch" the Dark Side without falling. Playing with fire but it was one thing that Yoda was secretly worried about when it came to Mace Windu. Very FEW Jedi over the course of that sect of Jedi (stood for over 1,000 years) could display such a skill. It was walking a fine line but still controlling oneself to let go of any Dark influence after the combat is over.
