Description Myra left the treehouse with Chloe in deep thought. She hadn’t thought that Mike would be like that. In fact, she hadn’t even given Mike much thought before. Still, it had felt surprisingly good to talk with him. As they came down from the tree, it was already getting dark. The lights that Maple and Fresnel had hung up around the town were now lit up, providing soft light to the evening.

“Oh, hello again”, they heard a familiar voice and saw Fresnel coming their way. “Got your gift delivered, it seems?”

“Hello, mister Fresnel”, Chloe greeted, “Yes, we did. I’m actually thinking that we should buy a gift for Mike as well… By the way, your decorations look simply wonderful!”

Fresnel seemed to be delighted with the compliment. “Why, thank you!” he grinned. Then his expression turned slightly more serious, though he still kept smiling. “And I’m sure Mike would appreciate that. The poor Pokemon has just lost his friend, after all. Of course, I’m also trying to help him the best I can with all the problems he must face. Since he’s now leading the rescuers all by himself.”

Chloe nodded to Fresnel’s words and then turned to speak to Myra. “Hey, I think I’m still going to get something for Mike. Could you… um… Stay here and wait for me? Then we can go to the party together.”

Myra wasn’t sure why they couldn’t go together, but she agreed anyway. As she and Fresnel watched Chloe go, Fresnel smiled. “You have a very sweet partner.”

Myra smiled to herself. “Yeah, Chloe’s great.”

“I’m sure you have a wonderful gift reserved for her, then.”

“Yeah, I…” Myra’s voice faded quickly as she realized the situation. “Oh no, I DON’T have anything for her!” She had focused on finding a great present for Chill, but she had forgotten Chloe. And Chloe was really the one that she the most wanted to give a gift to. How could have she been so stupid?

Fresnel was starting to say something, but Myra interrupted her. “Thanks, I got to go” she said hastily as she started to sprint towards PK’s stand. Then she stopped. There was something bothering her about Fresnel, but she couldn’t quite grasp it. She wanted to at least put it to words. She turned back to the Ampharos.

“Hey, sorry. You seem like a nice guy, but I just want you to know…” Myra stared the Ampharos with a determined look.

“No one can replace Chill.”

Fresnel looked stunned by Myra’s sudden serious tone. Then he smiled a bit awkwardly. “Ha ha, what are you getting all serious for? Of course that’s true. After all, Chill was the co-founder of the Rescuers guild. I’m sure no one would deny his great influence here in Tao Village.”

Myra’s eyes kept their determined look but her mouth curved into a smile. “Right. See you later, then!” she exclaimed and turned to go again. She hoped that PK’s stand would still be open.

He he, I kind of went ahead of things here, but I wanted Myra to aknowledge this to herself. Oh, and this part is written from Myra's point of view. Since it was easier like that.

Only one part left to write! Thank god I already finished the picture for it~

Thank you! <3 The base colors are done with watercolors, and the shading is done with colored pencils.
