well, i dont think its too dark...do what u need to in order to make it look good to u...
i like it so far! i like the simpler design...it doesnt need to be elaborate and heavy to look good...

I wanted it to look lighter, yet still 'utilitarian' looking..

Cool, I'm having some issues with the seat textures, but it's not that big of a deal - I'm rendering now to see if they 'look' ok, that and I've cranked the lighting up so everyone can see it better

Hmmmm, The linkage needs more. Maybe two ribbed flexible tubes between wheel-thing and the body, just to bulk them up a bit.
I think we are all to used to seeing the normally complex and heavy wheel equipment in our vehicles. So these come off as too simple and delicate to the eye.
Other then that and the fenders, she looks great amigo.

I was thinking of putting some sort of 'hose' attaching from the hover pad.....

Yeah, that is about what I thought would look perfect there
Or a really time consuming, and annoying to do, articulated linkage..... Yes, a Hose would be much better!

The 3 part linkage, is ok, adding the 'ower line' into it would help the over all look I think.. I may do that today, but I have some other things I have to do... like get ready to have a new washer and dryer delivered on Friday)....

I needed it dark on my screen to see the glass effect on opposite side through the glass...
I'll do a image with 'studio' lighting in a little bit

for the glass put sphere at 10000 or virtual sky and put tag not visible by the camera and put hdri in new material and slide to the sphere .
now you have full reflection window.

I can add atmospheric items later, I was more concerned about the glass actually being 'see through, with too much lighting it just 'glares on the galss' so I turned down the lighting.
