Description
I think this piece was inspired by my latest poll question.H.P. Lovecraft is one of my favorite writers and his works have been a big influence on me. I'm surprised it has taken me this long to get around to doing a piece in his honor, but now I finally have. This piece features a bunch of monsters influenced by his writings, in particualr...
Cthulhu, the Deep ones, Chthonians, Gugs, Moon-Beasts, Zoth-Ommog, the Great old ones and the Necronomicon!

Seems like he controls the rest with the book; such as he controls them with his words, his art in reality... Nice one

He's got some great short stories. Some brilliant ideas.
Though since today's mythos is so innundated with zombies, ghouls, undead and other such creepy crawlies his works may not have as much of the same scare as they did.

As a Lovecraft adept, reader and follower of the Cthulhu mithos (yes, sound a little bit like a Great Ones cultist...), "Call of Cthulhu" RPG player, and drawer/painter/ilustrator who has drawed infinite times Lovecraft craetures just for fun, I must say that your Cthulhu is simply great. It remember me the style of a great arthist as Guy Davis is.
Hope to see more mithos inspired works. I allways liked the elders and the great race of Yith... perhaps sometime I draw one again and post it here....
Cthulhu ftagh'n!

This piece is amazing and I think I hurt myself hugging the monitor. I say 'Lovecraft' at school and all I get are blank stares. This. Is. Amazing.
Have any of you ever hear the CD Very Scary Solatice? Someone might have said this alright, but I haven't read through. (No time.) Anyway, it is a collection of Christmas Tunes with lyrics about the Lovecraft stories. I was shocked that they got so many talented singers for this CD. Go. Find it. Now.

It's "The Call of Cthulhu and other Weird Stories".... I'm quite a way through now, but "Cthulhu..." is still my favourite, followed very closely by "Dagon", and "The Hound". "The Festival" was a bit of a head trip too!

That's one of the last stories in the book... I still have that to go. Have you tried the Call Of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth video game? It's kept the mood of the books perfectly!

No, first person games make me sick. Except on the PS3 I have been able to play Resistance without any problems.
