Description

The Praxis Incident caused many in the Empire to question the order of things. The Treaty with the Federation, the Empire’s mortal enemies, was seen as an affront to the very name Klingon while the relief efforts, largely spearheaded by the Federation, saw the first Starfleet ships reach Qo’noS since Jonathan Archer’s visit well over a century ago.

Factions began to develop and it was obvious that Chancellor Azetbur was barely holding on to power. With the increase of Klingon ships attacking remote outposts and trade routes, Azetbur declaring any Klingon attacking the Federation as a Rogue Entity, Starfleet decided to form a considerable task-force led by the Enterprise at the newly commissioned Trafalgar Station near Betazed, with orders to secure the sector against possible Klingon Aggression. Operation Sentinel had begun.

The newly commissioned USS Valhalla relieved the Enterprise-B five months into the Operation and responded to an Andorian Freighter’s distress call on her first patrol. As the Heavy-Cruiser arrived on the scene, three Birds of Prey launched their attack.

The Valhalla responded in kind…
