Derpy, nooo!

My submission for NATG XI: Day 13! Today's prompt was "Draw a pony enjoying some summer fun / Draw a pony baking in the sun." So here's Derpy ... baking in the sun! Specifically, trying to bake her muffins! xD I'm not sure it's going to work, but she's sure to give it a good darned try!

Twisting prompts into an alternative or literal reading is always one of my favourite things to do. So when this idea popped into my head I went for it xD Plus I love any excuse to draw a good ol' Derpy. Love this mare, and I love to give her some attention Had a bit of trouble finishing this one, mostly because I had no freaking clue how to draw a muffin tray xD Like with the angle, should the bottom of the cups be visible? How should the muffin dough look inside it? So I just tried to keep it simple 'cause I didn't know what else to do xD Pretty happy with the cute Derpy, though! Gotta love to draw the scrunch! Which is actually kind of tricky to get right, so I'm not sure I got it right here xD And the background was admittedly kind of an after thought. Like, I planned on having it, but I just wanted to finish up by the time I got to it, so just have a basic sky, I guess, haha Did the clouds a bit differently to what I normally do. Not sure it payed off, but still look like clouds, so I guess that's all that matters!
